Hello my plant people! Iâm relatively new to plants but I was gifted some caladium bulbs and on a whim decided to try my hand at growing them. I had no idea they grow so fast! Look at these babies!!! Any inside tips to ensuring these guys stay beautiful is appreciates
Hello! These are my current house plants! My baby spider was a gift from a student of mine and sheâs definitely struggling! I wanted to propagate the spider babies so I also bought myself a mature plant thatâs beginning to produce! Yesterday I added my golden pothos to my plant family! I know nothing about plant care. My method of watering is just water as it feels right and I havenât killed the spiders yet so Iâm just going to keep on keeping on I guess? lol
Hello! So I am SUPER new to plants but I was just gifted a few to get started and I have some questions! First off, I was given a Wandering Jew and my family friend said that the plant has been struggling for a while and sheâs recently repotted it in hopes of saving it, however Iâve had it for about a month now and it still seems to be struggling. Iâve read that theyâre very thirsty plants and need lots of water, but I donât want to drown it. I also recently realized that the pot she had it in does not have any drainage holes, so I think the roots are probably suffering because the bottom of the plant looks sick but the top seems super healthyđ„ș Iâm going to switch over to a pot with actual drainage, but Iâve seen a lot of posts about propagating Wandering Jews and Iâm wondering if thatâs what I should do or if I should just trim the bad roots once I repot it. My second thing is I was given a Devilâs Ivy, however I noticed that thereâs two different types of leaves on the plant. So I think she put Devilâs Ivy and Heartleaf Philodendron in the same pot, but Iâve heard that Devilâs Ivy can be somewhat invasive so Iâm not sure if I should try to separate them because it seems like the heartleaf is struggling a little bit!đ„ș Finally, she gave me a Poinsettia and I am TERRIFIED of killing it because Iâve heard how difficult they aređ Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated!! First picture is Noodle (Wandering Jew) Second picture is Herbert (Devilâs Ivy/Heartleaf Philodendron) Third picture is Richard (Poinsettia)
Hi everyone, do you know any working way to water plants while being away? Most of my plants are succulents and they are drought resistant, but I have some others that canât wait 3 weeks between watering. Thanks! Giusy
What do you guys use to water plants? I have always used tab! I have heard that it can harm your plants in the long run. I live out in the country so I donât know if my tab water is truly different. Thoughts?
Hi! Iâm new here and trying to learn about plants. I have this lavender plant and Iâm looking for tips on what it needs because itâs not looking well. Thanks!
Hey Planter peeps! If I have a ceiling fan running 24 hours a day in my 10x10 home office, should I be marking yes to the near ventilation question for all of my plants? TYIA!

Pharaohs mask has this long stemmed leaf. Every leaf that comes with it dies. Do I just keep cutting off the dead leaf and let it be single? lol I wish these grew more out of the shoot so itâs not just one single leaf lol. Unless u know how I can?? Btw this was about the 5th time Iâve cut a fellow dead leaf off Thank u

I found these reptile UV lights in the garage. Would they be suitable for grow lights? I donât have the box or anything, so I donât have any specific details on them, but any help would be great!
Ok any help would be great. I just saved these from going into a dumpster and I'm good with hoyas so I'm not worried about him but the other one scares me. I brought them home cleaned the roots and put them back in pots. Watered them with rain water and hb-101 to help with the roots. So what else do you all think I need to do the make them happy?? Thanks for any help
How long should the roots be on a water prop before moving to leca?
I think my pink nerve plant is starting to flower!
Hi! This is my first acacia. Any care advice. She is beautiful!!
Hi! Can anyone give me care advice for my African violet? Her name is Princess Di. New to my plant family as a gift. I gave her a new self watering pot and she is not in direct light.
Whatâs your ideal moss pole set up? Do you DIY or buy one pre-made (where cuz nurseryâs are $$$). How do to attach the plant and âtrainâ it to grow into it? Do you still provide nutrients in the water that you feed into the plant? How often do you need to replace the moss/make sure no fungus is growing? Anything else I need to know about moss poles? Thanks!
Im not sure whatâs going on in here⊠looks like thereâs a whole new baby plant coming out of the leaf? Does anyone know how to separate these without killing them? As itâs making the plant not be able to stand and will eventually break because of the weight
