Hello! So I am SUPER new to plants but I was just gifted a few to get started and I have some questions! First off, I was given a Wandering Jew and my family friend said that the plant has been struggling for a while and sheās recently repotted it in hopes of saving it, however Iāve had it for about a month now and it still seems to be struggling. Iāve read that theyāre very thirsty plants and need lots of water, but I donāt want to drown it. I also recently realized that the pot she had it in does not have any drainage holes, so I think the roots are probably suffering because the bottom of the plant looks sick but the top seems super healthyš„ŗ Iām going to switch over to a pot with actual drainage, but Iāve seen a lot of posts about propagating Wandering Jews and Iām wondering if thatās what I should do or if I should just trim the bad roots once I repot it. My second thing is I was given a Devilās Ivy, however I noticed that thereās two different types of leaves on the plant. So I think she put Devilās Ivy and Heartleaf Philodendron in the same pot, but Iāve heard that Devilās Ivy can be somewhat invasive so Iām not sure if I should try to separate them because it seems like the heartleaf is struggling a little bit!š„ŗ Finally, she gave me a Poinsettia and I am TERRIFIED of killing it because Iāve heard how difficult they areš Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated!!
