One of the 2 leaves on my radish plant was browning, so I cut it off. Should I trim the stem of the leaf, or will a new leaf grow from it?

First time dealing with pests. I think these are spider mites. I found them on my alocasia stingray. Does anyone have a method or specific product they use for getting rid of them?

Can someone look through my list and tell me which plant will survive being in a bathroom?

Yolanda

Grabbed two new plant babies today Dragon tail fern (aka GLORY) and snake plant (aka MIRIAM). I’m expanding to different plant babies besides pothos plants.

We just propitiated one of our plants. Here are some pictures of the propagations. (We got a bit creative)

Hello! My mom purchased this Gardenia about a month or so ago, and when she repotted it, she put it into a 10-gallon (I think, maybe bigger) pot with no drainage. She did place large rocks into the bottom of it, but I don't think that makes a difference in this situation. We are in Central FL, and we keep this plant out on our back deck. Yesterday, we received torrential downpours, and the entire pot filled with water. To the point that there was standing water on top of the soil. Today, she managed to dump the water off the top, but the dirt is so waterlogged that it's essentially mud at this point. We brought it inside to dry out and placed it under a grow light so that it won't get rained on anymore (we are supposed to get a lot more rain today). But, at this point, is there anything else we can do? I'm concerned about it getting root rot and dying. I thought about having my son drill some holes into the bottom of the pot, but it's plastic, so idk if that will just crack it. However, I guess at this point, that might be better than its current situation. Any ideas would be appreciated, as I am hoping to save the plant! Thanks in advance!

Hello! I’ll keep it short and simple. Does anyone know what these plants might be? There my mother’s, and we got them from Kroger a while ago. My brother had a general idea of what they might be, but we can’t find the exact one!

Some of my basil sprouts. I’ve started to wilt how do I fix that? I changed the soil water it and put it in a sunnier spot with a little bit of shade but if you guys have any other advice, I would love to hear it.

Does anyone think this white fuzz on the root is a sign of fungus gnats on my heart leaf philodendron roots? I’ve seen zero insects in the soil but the plant is starting to have yellow leaves with brown spots. Planta AI suggests gnats (26% accuracy).

New leaf for my monstera, Barney! He’s already got a newer one on its way in the back. The last thing I expected to see was a whole new sprout starting when I got home from my long day. Can’t wait for him to get bigger and bigger!

Found this little guy sitting on the shelf at Lowe’s today not in a pot, and with no empty pot in sight. Somebody had ripped it out of its nursery pot and shook of the soil, leaving it there basically bare root 😳 I took it to the checkout and asked if I could buy it for $1 and they said yes!! So happy with my little steal of a deal!

Just nabbed this gorgeous Thai Pink Passion Lipstick Plant at Lowe’s 😆 Anyone who knows about this type of plant knows they’re pretty hard to find, especially at a low price, but it was fresh stock and $20! I was so shocked. Wanted to give the heads up for anyone else who scopes the Lowe’s houseplant section out for rare finds to keep your eyes peeled for some new stock this month. For anyone that was hunting for one of these like I was, GO TO LOWE’S. 🩷🌸

I want to invest in some house plants to have for a while as I enjoy growing plants from little babies, but me and my partner want to get cats and dogs in the future. What are some of your favourite pet safe plants?

Lee

Hey guys, OK so this is my little plant family. These are all five of my plants. I am trying to propagate one of them and I put her in a clear vase with some water. I recently changed the water with rain water. However, when I took her out, I noticed her ends looked like this. Is this normal? I’m still a new plant Mom 💕 so I’m learning as I go. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated and love this app.

Hello! I have a window well that receives no direct sunlight but I’d like to plant something in it. Does anyone know of any plants that would grow in it? I know it looks a little trashy at the moment but I plan to fully renovate it!

Any teachers here that have plants in their classrooms? I have only recently found a passion for indoor gardening and would love to have some of my plants in my classroom in the fall. I have a really nice long south facing windowsill. At home all my plants are in my eastern facing windows as I don’t have a southern window. I was thinking of maybe taking in my snake plant, rattlesnake plant and possibly my pothos. Do you think they would do well in a southern window? I would LOVE to get a monstera but maybe that would be too difficult?
