Got this 10â potted group of 4 monstera deliciosa from Publix for 30$, waited a week to repot them all into their own pots. Awful awful choice. The root ball is the entire pot and Iâve been blasting away soil for 25 minutes straight with the hose. I am determined to separate the 4 plants so that we can keep each one alive and not have one ultimately outgrow and suffocate the other 3. Last resort is going to be snipping through the root ball but does anybody have any recommendations or advice before the mosquitoes convince me to get violent?

Just wondering if any of you make your own mixes? I was getting low so I filled all three of these today. I buy huge amounts of everything, (soil, perlite, orchid back and warm castings). So much cheaper in the long run.

I posted yesterday about visiting a plant event near me and a couple people asked what I bought. So I made this post so people would see it rather than on original post. First pic includes a sensitive plant which was closed up at the time. The calathea and pothos are replacements. The others are new to me. Finally found a sansevieria ghost. The first plant was totally new to me. Itâs a haworthia. Iâve visited this event a few times and itâs always a great experience. Everyone is always friendly

Midday coffee and pruning with the gangđżđ»đȘ»lots of secondary bloom cycles happeningđbut id likeđ¶đđđ to give a special shout out to the squirrels and their crop farms planted in all my canna lilly pots that I grew from bulbs in the house in early spring. The đœ is coming in hotđ€š and im not even sure what this other crop isđŹ googly says sunflower microgreensđ€·ââïž and i love this for themđ not sure if my cannas will ever bloom thođđ I have wild bunnies, chipmunks (chickenmunks as my grands say), and several squirrels that staycation here in the summer like the hamptonsđ

Hi all! Iâm hoping for some advice. I have a money tree that Iâve cared for since it was a baby, and sheâs now quite large and still growing. I also recently added a baby olive tree to my collection. This season, Iâve noticed a plethora of gnats, and they seem especially drawn to those two plants. So far, Iâve cleaned my windowsills with Clorox, used plant-safe spray on the plants, caulked the windowsills, added a Zevo UV light catcher, and had my building come out to exterminate. Theyâre also scheduled to come again on Tuesday. I donât have fruit sitting out, and I keep a very clean home, so Iâm at a bit of a loss. We live in a sun-facing apartment, and Iâm wondering if the combination of warmth, plants, and soil moisture is making things worse. Has anyone dealt with this before, especially with money trees or olive trees? Any advice on what to do next to minimize or get rid of the gnats would be so appreciated. I am very much not a bug person, and they are driving me crazy.

Hi all! As a beginner, I have a question for all of the plant gurus out there. So my living space is not ideal for most plants (I live in a basement, only get light at specific times, wall ac units) but I want to keep plants alive! Are there any plants people would recommend for my kind of environment?

What's happening to my pothos? She is a beautiful propagation from my friend and has been happy and thriving and giving me new leafs but this morning she has a soft grayish black corner of one going on. I repotted her a few weeks back and moved her maybe a foot lower bc the new pot is too big for the window shelf.

The clones are taking off doing nice in this high heat đ sherbet is packing fat flowers and smells sweet đ gorilla is puny not a waste still putting flowers đ« O.G is full of flowers as well I also grow other plants
