Hey yâall! , my newest baby is a Fern Leaf Cactus đ His name is Finn. He didnât arrive in the best shape, but with some TLC, he is thriving now! i love him so much!

I watch various YouTubers and in one video it talked about collecting plants vs growing a thriving plant. I am working toward getting my plants to be the best they can be and try and limit buying new ones for a bit. Now I am convinced they all have something wrong! Any words of wisdom? Trying to not be down on myself that I thought I was a decent plant mommy and have been downgraded to a fair mommy at best.

*HELP* My monstera is in a HUGE pot, Iâve bought a 50cm pot for when she outgrows this one which is SOON. I think Iâm going to need to saw off the bottom of the roots so that I can avoid having to try to find an even LARGER pot. Iâm so scared though sheâs my baby and Iâm so worried that chopping off the roots will hurt her or even worse kill her. Does anybody have experience with doing root cuts to avoid upsizing? Iâve seen loads of people do it online but Iâm so so anxious about it. Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated đâš

I want to get a shelf for my plants at some point and I want to get a climbing plant that I can train to wrap around the shelf. Would pothos be a good plant to let the leaves trail down or let them climb up? What are some other plants that can do the same? I have an east facing sliding door so I get bright direct light in the morning and bright indirect during the rest of the day. However I do live in a rainy cloudy state most of the winter time.

The sticky yellow gnat traps work SO well but they are also so frustrating. Sometimes I bump it and it sends soil flying. I feel like I always have one stuck to my arm or butt. Today I got one stuck in my hair and it pulled out quite a few strands lol. Last week we had to cut one out of my dogâs tail!

We have had this chinese money plant for a while, and it keeps getting yellow leaves and losing leaves, but we canât figure out why. Does anyone know whats going on?

Can this even be saved? I got this plant for free off FB along with few others because she couldnât care for it anymore i suppose. Before pickup she told me it needs some TLC, itâs a sharktooth cactus, and itâs been underwatered. I picked it up and saw some sorts of webbing on it. I wasnât sure if it was spiderwebs from being outside or spider mites, so I treated it like the latter, gave it a good rinsing down and sprayed it with neem oil. itâs quarantined now. the other ones too, but in a different spot since they had no trace of any pests but i treated them to be safe and they are also quarantined. I trimmed back a LOT of dead leaves. Pics are the webs + before, and then what I managed to salvage. Is it worth it? Itâs a beautiful plant with new growth despite all the mess. advice on moving forward? the stem in the middle is still tall and beautiful, others seem to be struggling. Thanks!

Hi all...found thrips on my Thai Con last week. Washed it off, treated with neem oil and isolated. Once I no longer see any pests, how long until she can join the collection again? Everything I am reading says treat for 4 to 6 weeks. Can she rejoin the collection once the pests are gone or is there a waiting period? Thanks! (I tried to post this on the pest group but for some reason it wouldn't let me. So i posted it here....not a double post.)

Anyone know what this guy is? Iâm getting Teardrop Peperomia or Trailing Jade Peperomia on the app. I have a different Teardrop Peperomia and this one feels different than the other. This almost feels like a succulent; rubbery/waxy leaves.

Are these corms? I was repotting my new monstera plant into what turned out to be 6 different plants, and found these in the roots. Any ideas? So I didnât know what to do with them so I put them in some soil to see what happens lol. There was a pointy end that I put facing up.
