I need help should I report him feel like he is getting pretty tall and big for the little pot itâs a Boston ivy his name is Big papi
hi, iâm new to plant care and i wanted to ask for recommendations on beginner plants, that donât require much sun light. iâm looking into uv grow lights right now. before i get them, i want to see how well i can take care of a plant before i buy them. thank you!!
Calthea lovers⊠Look what a plant light did to my girl, and Iâm not sure I like it, or that itâs healthy! Her older leaves seem to lack the depth of green that they previously had, and a part of her has shot up several inches so that sheâs just not quite as balanced and beautiful as she once was. Do I take her plant light away or what? TIA⊠PS. Sheâs getting the same water, sheâs in the same space, getting the same fertilizer⊠nothing has changed that I can think of, except the lightâŠ???
Does anyone know why it has white dots??? Just recently got the plant. Itâs been out of soil for a bit

Hey sweet plant people! I recently just bought this white knight philodendron. Iâve never had philodendrons before and have not one CLUE how to care for them. Iâm terrified of killing her. Itâs recently developed this hole in its leaf, but I checked for root rot and didnât see any. sheâs in a well draining mix and everything Iâve seen says sheâs hard to take care of, which worryâs me more of course, any tips you could give me Iâd love you for! Thank yâall so much!

Hi. I'm a new plant mum to an areca plant. I'm not great at keeping plants i must admit and even managed to somehow kill a cactus. Any kind of advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance
My Polly has a couple of holes in some of her big leaves⊠đąâŠ Is there any way I can repair those? TIAâŠ
My begonia does great and then for no reason the leaves start drying out and fall off then it starts new leaves. Any suggestions?
I have several plants under grow lights for the winter. How do I find out if the color of the light is the right one for the plants. I have some lights that are pink and others that are yellow to white. My hoya's seem to like the pink but others don't. Thanks for any help you can give me
Not too sure what to do with this rhaphidophora tetrasperma. I plan on putting it on a trellis, but canât yet. Iâve only had it for about a month and it has grown about twice the size, shooting out new stems and about 5 new leaves per week. Even with a trellis, Iâm sure it will outgrow it very quickly. đ€Ł Side note, it has some light variegation on one stem (Photo 3) that kind of reminds me of a less variegated thai con. Itâs a little hard to see the smaller spots in the photo, but the larger ones are there. It just started doing this recently on a few leaves and I was wondering if there is any way to encourage the variegation to get stronger.
Hey! New plant mother here, I was just had a question about my plants.. i just planted sunflowers and morning glory flowers on the 9th of this month, And i know its only been 4 days but i heard it takes 7-9 days to see baby sprouts.. i just havenât seen any signs of them growing at all, any pointers or do i have to just wait ? đ Im also growing them inside with a brand new Light grower, there close by a window which is open 24/7 ! i have growing plants that i keep in my living room on a windowsill and there growing just fine!
Iâve been watering my peace Lilly more frequently recently so Iâm thinking maybe itâs time for a repot. I can see some roots just starting to poke out of the drainage hole What do you guys think?
I have had this queen of the night plant for about 4 years now and it does great outside in the summer and when I bring it in for the winter it starts to turn brown. I moved it into my livingroom and now it is happy and is growing great but the old leaves still have some brown on them. Should I cut the brown off or leave it. Thanks for any help
A request for emotional support/advice⊠I think my husband is mad at me for letting the plants take over the house (about 200), so I guess I need to downsize my collection. đ I can accept the idea of giving some plants away, but Iâm afraid of them not thriving in the recipientsâ care. If youâve given plants away, how do you get over the fear that youâre sending them to an uncertain fate, especially if the recipient is a stranger? Photo is of the âplant room,â where I can have as many plants and lights as I want⊠itâs the rest of the house thatâs the point of contention.
Just bought my first Fig plant and it seems like some kind of bug is eating it. The app says itâs overwatered but I mean the leaves are not doing too hot and i donât know what to do. Anyone have an idea??? Thank you!
FAVORITE INDOOR PLANTS?! Monday and me and Anton discussed our favorite indoor plants (right now, might be something else tomorrow): if you just could pick three, which would it be?! And this is what we ended up with: ANTONS FAVORITE INDOOR PLANTS: Silver Teaspoons - Kalanchoe bracteata & Kalanchoe hildebrandtii These are great plants for full to part sunlight locations. The plant makes wonderful silvery leaves, stems and naturally tends to branch out a lot on its own. Itâs drought tolerant and also easy to propagate from stem cuttings. Suitable as both a free growing, large plant or get regularly pruned to be kept small and dense. Red Bristle Philodendron - Philodendron squamiferum A great alternative option to monsteras, pothos and other climbing aroids. This plant gets interesting green leaves with unique maroon to red hairy leaf stalks. Itâs suitable for bright indirect light areas in your home. Itâs also easy to propagate using stem cuttings. Vrieseas - Vriesea Vrieseas are some of the most striking bromeliads. These plants are usually rather adaptable and can tolerate anywhere from rather low to high amounts of light. But they tend to grow best in part sun locations or plenty of bright, indirect light. There are many different interesting species and varieties to choose from. The species âthe King of Bromeliadsâ, Vriesea hieroglyphica, is one of our favourite. In optimal conditions it can eventually reach an impressive diameter of almost 5 ft. Although thatâs not usually the case indoors luckily. MY FAVORITE INDOOR PLANTS: Porcelain Flower - Hoya Carnosa 'Tricolor / Krimson Queen' She is green, she is pink and she is white. That might be motivation enough. But this queen can also handle many different lightning situations and keeps on growing steady for years to come. Vanilla - Vanilla planifolia A unique orchid that produces the worldâs most popular and versatile flavor and scentâvanilla! Itâs both beautiful and useful, and growing it might just help protecting it from extinction. Jade Plant - Crassula Ovata Crassula ovata is an amazing succulent known for its thick leaves and resilience. Itâs easy to care for, symbolizes good luck, and can live for decades. If you're lucky enough and provide it with the right conditions it might even bloom with delicate white or pink flowers.
Help! What do you guys do to keep these babies up?? Should I cut and left it grow again? Or should I stick something in the soil to help it stay up? Thanks đ±âš
My little ficus has been dropping leaves like crazy, like three or four a day for the past two weeks. However, if youâll notice inside the leaves, close to the stems, there are little green berries, which I have never seen before! I have to assume that even though sheâs dropping leaves, which she has done in the past, she must be happy. CommentsâŠ?
