Thrips thrips thrips….first case ever and I have questions for those that have dealt with them. I have yet to actually see one just the effect of them…just one plant so far from what I can tell. How in the heck am I suppose to know if other have them before they cause damage? How close do plants have to be in order for transfer? Is it worth all the hassle to try and rid the plant of them…or should trash be the quickest way? This is a Gloriousium also…about 4 years old.

I got this monstera adansonii a few months ago and she began having a problems about a week ago. all of her old growth is dying off and turning brown/yellow, crispy, droopy, and sad 😢. should i repot? how can i help her?

I am having problems with my mayer lemon tree. It's doing better but I think my soil ph is too high or missing something in my fertilizer. My fertilizer is 5-3-4, what do you guys use for your indoor lemon tree? Or any pointers would be great! Thank you in advance.

What would cause this new leaf to die before fully unfurling? Pretty sure this is a lemon lime heart leaf philodendron.

Hey everyone! This is my zebra plant named Marty. I’ve had him for about 2 months now, over the past few weeks I have been noticing browning on the tips of his leaves, and also some brown spots on other areas of the leaf. I always try my best to keep him out of the air conditioning, and I use filtered water when I water him! Does anyone have suggestions on how I can prevent this from happening?? Thanks:)

i recently returned from a 10 day vacation and despite watering it before i left, my moon valley pilea is completely crispy! 💔 i'm guessing the heat wave and low humidity killed it, but in the 3 months i've had it the humidity has not been an issue. one stem is still green but i'm not sure how to move forward. thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I wanted to see if anybody knows what might’ve happened to my Monstera. Initially, I thought that the roots are rotting, but I repotted them yesterday, and I saw that the roots are still healthy. They’re still white and none of them seem to be rotting. However, the leaves are yellowing and even browning and some new leaves didn’t even get to unfold and died when they are still folded. Thank you guys in advance.

Hi folks! I come baring yet another question 😅 My tiny thai constellation is FINALLY pushing out a new leaf, which I’m super excited about! However, the dull yellow-ish leaf is what I’m wondering about.. its not browning but its been this unsavory light color for a very long time now. Should I just chop it?

My house plants are infected with fungus gnats . I’ve tried for the last 6 weeks to get them under control. I’ve done nematodes, I’ve done insect pellets , 70% isopropyl alcohol at night and they are still here.. I’m going to attempt to repot all 30 of my house plants does anyone have suggestions for the best way to go about repotting all of them in order to minimize shock and get the best results possible… I’m planning on doing a chunky soil mix, orchid, bark per light generic plant soil. When I repot them.., should I spray the roots with alcohol? Can I repot immediately? Should I re-water when I repot? Any step by step repotting directions for a mass re-pot would be appreciated.

The leaves of my red begonia started yellowing recently. It began with the bottom leaves but is gradually spreading to the upper leaves as well. It was doing really well a month ago so I’m unsure what the problem is. I recently repotted it from a terracotta pot (which it grew in for about 4 years) to a ceramic pot and am wondering if that may be the cause. Can anyone give advice in this situation? Should I repot it back to a terracotta pot?

This plant has been the problem child forever! I brought it home and kept it water logged for months (rookie mistake) I transferred it, it broke off its foliage, had mold everywhere. Today I finally took it out of its pot and I’m trying to dry out the roots. All of them are brown, I can’t tell what’s dirt and what’s rotting root! Say a prayer for this plant to live. I have other shoots from this plant doing amazing! Waiting for this one to catch up. Check out the progress on this one and it’ll make sense…

Hey group … So spider plant was doing great and started putting out extra vines with lil spidettes.. Now the vine is doing this and idky … Any help pls I feel like every since it flourished and did an extreme down hill right after. No it doesn’t get direct sun and I rotate her every other day

I just had to move one of my plants to the graveyard for the first time. I epically lost the battle with mealy bugs. I tried for two months to get rid of them. I finally let the plant go so it wouldn’t accidentally infect the rest of my plants. By the end, it definitely didn’t look like this. Pretty sure trying to save it, killed it. Anyone have success getting rid of mealy bugs?

Help! My monstera just started getting black yellow. I tried giving it a good watering a week ago and it didn’t help. It’s been doing great and all of a sudden, got unwell. I had this same problem with my last monstera. She’s in a north facing window with mostly indirect light. What should I do?

This is a brand new leaf on my baby elephant ear. It just started spouting from the bulb and this is the first leaf to unfurl. What’s wrong? It’s outside, in part sun, part shade. It did rain quite a bit recently, for a few days, but I use the watering schedule Planta suggests. It’s still pretty curled up and this part with the brown/hole is very folded up still I had to stretch it for the picture. Help! I was so excited to receive this bulb as a gift, I want it to stay gorgeous!

I posted a few months ago about my frustration with my Syngonium Batik (left pic) which was only putting out pale leaves. Decided to cut it all the way back & see if she'd restart. Well here she is now. Not sure what caused the issue & haven't really changed her conditions much. Just think we got off on the wrong foot?
