Hey group … So spider plant was doing great and started putting out extra vines with lil spidettes.. Now the vine is doing this and idky … Any help pls I feel like every since it flourished and did an extreme down hill right after. No it doesn’t get direct sun and I rotate her every other day
Fortunately, I don’t think you have anything to worry about! My spider plant does this too!! I think, as long as the baby on the end and mama plant look healthy, the fact that the vine is so long and bare is okay! It’s possible that more babies will grow along the vine over time; frequently my spider plant with make one baby on the end and then eventually populate the rest of the vine. But if baby dies off, it’s okay to just cut that entire vine off so mama doesn’t spend energy on trying to keep the vine/baby alive. Mama plant looks really healthy to me, though, so I’d say just let the baby and the vine stay and see what happens!!
