The leaves of my red begonia started yellowing recently. It began with the bottom leaves but is gradually spreading to the upper leaves as well. It was doing really well a month ago so I’m unsure what the problem is. I recently repotted it from a terracotta pot (which it grew in for about 4 years) to a ceramic pot and am wondering if that may be the cause. Can anyone give advice in this situation? Should I repot it back to a terracotta pot?
begonias are drama queens. don't repot again. how often are you watering?

If you went from Terracotta to glazed you might be watering the same but it hits the plant different. Glazed won’t wick away extra moisture like terracotta might. My guess is you disturbed it and it’s not happy. Might just have to let her acclimate or move her back to terracotta

If it is an issue with the water, not waking away because of the new pot, a suggestion I got from the AI on this app was to use chopsticks to aerate the soil, so it can dry more quickly and also of course you guys already probably all know to add perlite or something to the soil. I’m basically a beginner.
2 J'aimeYou may just need to back off on watering a bit. It’s probably just not drying out as quickly as it did in the terra cotta
