i recently returned from a 10 day vacation and despite watering it before i left, my moon valley pilea is completely crispy! đź’” i'm guessing the heat wave and low humidity killed it, but in the 3 months i've had it the humidity has not been an issue. one stem is still green but i'm not sure how to move forward. thanks in advance!
Not sure what my secret is!? I’ve had Marvin there for a few months now (with a 5 day vacation included) and he still loves me! He came in a self watering wick system pot. I’m constantly told how difficult they can be, but he’s been pretty much drama free for me! Was even starting to flower at Walmart and only continued to bloom and give out more since I got him!
he's so pretty! i should look for a self watering pot and see if mine likes that better (assuming it revives 🥲)
1 j'aime Yeah, they do like to stay moist. A nice misting from time to time seems to keep him happy too, but maybe that is more for my joy!?

Prune off any leaves that are completely dried out after you give it a thorough bottom watering. A small humidity cloche if possible would protect the remaining leaves and keep them from drying further, if you don’t have one you could always makeshift something with a rubber band, ziplock bag, and chopsticks to make a tent over it.
