Hey guys. My Baby Rubber Peperomia plant has not been doing so well and has been losing lots of leaves. During the summer it was very healthy and thriving but now it is extremely skinny and sickly. I have had it for about a year and a half. How can I fix it? Dr. Planta says it is lack of light but I wonder if it has to do with the fact that it is winter. The only problem with this however is that last winter, it didn’t have this problem; or at least now to this extent. I don’t have a picture yet but I will upload one as soon as I can. Thanks! 🫠

Hello! My friend gave this to me as a gift. I am not great at rehabilitation yet and the leaves, on what I’m assuming to be is a golden pothos, are not great. Hoping to repot it soon, but I currently cannot for a few weeks. Any tips to rehabilitate it in the meantime?

Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do with this potted plant assortment? I took it home from my husband’s aunt’s funeral, and even though it was in the warm car for the 9 hr drive home, the extreme cold this weekend seems to have shocked the peace lily. The soil is still moist so I took it into one of the warmer rooms in my house where there is a humidifier running. How soon should I try to separate the other little plants like the parlor palm & such from the peace lily? Thanks in advance!

Hi, everyone! I’m relatively new to plants and would love your feedback. My pink valentine is unwell and I first thought it was because I watered twice with tap water when it should have been distilled/filtered water. Today I saw this critter (3rd photo) and tried to snap photos. Is this thrips? Can the plant be saved? Thanks for your help!

I can't make this guy happy 🤬 he's due for a repot, but ever since i got him the minute a whiff of dry is felt, he's wilting his butt off. 😑 anyone else have one? Farfugium japonicum 'firefly' I haven't actually seen many as house plants, most of the info is for outdoors. Which i may try this spring/summer. Maybe a self watering pot? They seem to be kind of an understood plant. In a west window with lots of light, also from a south window kitty korner. Misted every other day. Silica w/every water. Fertilized every 2 weeks. No pests.

a couple of my plants are very root bound but producing new leaves at the same time…repotting right now would be too stressful?

Hello. I was hoping someone could help me figure out what is wrong with this plant and if it is beyond help. It’s been staying alive for about half a year like this and I have tried everything I can but I don’t know what to do. Can it be saved?

Hi guys I just picked up this snake plant from the store, unfortunately I didn’t inspect it closely enough and just saw that 2 of them have been cut off at the tips (click on the top pic), which I understand means they won’t grow :/ Should I propagate those? Additionally the sides of some of the leaves kinda look nibbled off, will they continue to grow tall?

Just picked up this zebra plant on sale. Extremely crunchy, dry, wilted leaves. Pruned the super dead ones, repotted, watered, and have been misting daily. I plan on getting a pebble tray soon for extra humidity. It’s in a bright but indirect light area. Any other tips????

Anyone know why my soil has hairy mould on the surface and how to stop this. My snake plant gets watered every 3 weeks in winter and so the soil is completely dry for watering so I’m really confused as a new plant parent.

Hello all! I recently bought this monstera about a week ago, the new growth for some reason has some brownish black spotting on it, I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t think I am overwatering. Any idea what’s going on?

Does anyone struggle with indoor lavender? As soon as I bring home a new pot the leaves and branches dry no matter what I seem to try and do. I’ve treated it as well as my other plants as far as I know since I’m new to this, and my lavender always looks so sad :( please let me know if this is just a lost cause.

Hello! I bought a money tree last month from a local plant store. I read lots of articles and watched videos on its care since I’m a beginner, I really want this to live! After letting it adapt in its corner for about 2-3 weeks, I repotted it with fresh soil and plant food. I also snipped the rubber bands and was surprised at the amount of root there was since lots of videos and writers said to expect a small amount of short roots. I’m pleased to say my tree is growing so fast and beautifully! I water when the soil is dry and there are no signs of root rot or pests. However, a few leaves are showing patches. My mom wondered if it was a fungus. I assumed my leaves were scorched as I get lots of sunlight in my room so I moved it to a more indirect location. I know I can prune them but unless I have to I don’t want to. I’m hoping someone can teach me something I’m not finding on the internet; I can’t find pictures that depict what I’m experiencing! Thank you!

My Alocasia is looking pretty down trodden lately. Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

I just got a calathea white fusion and it needs a bit of TLC. I'm not sure if this has been caused by over watering, under watering...

This bird’s nest fern was bought in Sept 24. Almost killed it once but now seems to be doing pretty good. My question is: Do I have to bury the roots below the soil? It has pushed itself up again and there are no roots coming out of bottom of nursery pot. Thank you much in advance.

I need some help with my dracaena 😭 all I did was water her thoroughly a couple days ago and this morning she's browning/yellowing. This is very out of character for her. I don't think I see any pests so far

I need help with my spider plant! She was a house warming gift I got back in August and has been going down hill lately. Her tips are turning yellow, brown, and crispy. She was just recently repotted as I was concerned she may have some rotting but humidity/underwatering seemed to be the original issue. I have been increasing watering which seemed to help but now, I am noticing she has discoloration towards the base of her stems/leaves and any new growth all the tips are dying before they really develop. Is there anything I might be missing? Does she maybe need downgraded? She's in the pot she was gifted in and only recently put back into a clear nursery pot. She's in a N facing sliding glass door with grow lights for 12 hours a day. She is misted once or twice a week and watered by watering can once a week or bottom watered every 2 weeks. She is treated once every week to two weeks with homemade plant insects spray(water, neem oil, caster oil, peppermint oil, alcohol) I have included the pictures of what she looked like when I got her, where's she's set up, an updated photo of her, and the concerning spots.

The potting mix I made is sprouting little plants and mushrooms. Are these bad? They've only been in 1 pot so far so maybe the plant had spores on its roots from the nursery. The mix is mostly African violet soil mixed with vermiculite and charcoal.
