Hi all! Love plants. They don’t love me. I’ve been trying to be a plant girl for a while and felt like it was going GREAT. Cut to Christmas holidays leaving my beautiful plant at home with my partner, it’s died. How can I bring it back to life?

I got this little girl from my local greenhouse for 50% off ($4), I’m guessing because they were battling a bad case of gnats. I know… RED FLAG. I brought her and a string of hearts home. Found a red spider mite on the pot 2 days ago, sprayed with alcohol water mix. Found another yesterday on the edge of the pot. Sprayed with permethrin. No webs that I can see. Found one on the string of hearts, in a sealed container I was using to prop, TOSSED IT. Is this $4 cutie worth the worry and risk of spreading to my other plants? If I treat again, how long before I can confidently say I’ve wiped them out? She’s been quarantined the entire time, but she’s stressing me out!

I just got this mini monstera from Facebook marketplace and she was already yellowing. I have bottom watered and added fertilizer stuff to the water. Every passing day there are new yellowing leaves. Can someone give me some pointers or tips?

My birkin isn’t doing so hott :( I (think) I’m pretty good about not over/under watering but I could be wrong! It gets indirect light, I could relocate to somewhere brighter if it needs?

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this rosemary plant to be turning red from the bottom up? I recently renovated this bed by double digging and mixing in compost and sand to break up the clay soil. This older rosemary is a transplant from a pot on my deck and I have a new rosemary from the nursery that seems perfectly happy in the same bed and some lavender and thyme as well all are happy in the same conditions.

I’m concerned with the health of my snake plant. There are new leaves springing up and then there are dry, yellow patches on other leaves. I’m also concerned with the big leaves bending and breaking. This is my first plant so any advice is welcome!

Mouldy semi-hydro? I’m literally going nuts over the fact that my previous fluval stratum pots and semi-hydro have both developed mouldy tops and I don’t know what to do. I try to place fans around them but they still get mouldy. I changed everything from fluval to semi-hydro and there’s a very damp mouldy smell coming from them😩 How can I treat this or prevent it from happening🥹 I barely repotted them and they’ve adjusted, some better than others..

What kind of bugs are these and should they be removed from the plant?

Can someone explain these black dots? I got this plant in bad shape, trying to help it recover. Been spraying it with neem oil every 7 days or so for about 3 weeks but doesn’t seem to be helping.

Hi all, looking for some advice. I have these two chilli plants. One appears to be developing something like chillis but I’m wondering why some of the lower leaves have white bumps/discolouration/brown marks. They don’t appear to be rootbound and I’m careful about watering - I don’t water until the leaves go droopy. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance!💚🪴

Hey everyone! I recently took in the ownership of a large snake plant that my mother bought. It was clearly dying and I knew I couldn't just leave it so I brought it inside and got to work on it. I noticed some webbing between the stalks and I concluded that it must have a spider mites infection. Any tips for getting rid of them? I've never had this problem before so tips and tricks are appreciated!

My pink princess philodendron isn’t doing very well and I’m not sure what to do about it, did I overwater it or underwater it or something else? I think I overwatered it, but I’m not certain. Please help if you know!

Anyone know what the cause of these black spots on the back of my pilea peperomioides could be? It’s only on older leaves, but the plant otherwise doesn’t seem to be showing signs of distress (other than that yellow leaf I should prune)— there’s steady growth from the mother plant and plenty of new pups!

hi, so i received this little one in water from my cousin. some leaves were curled. she finally rooted so i placed her and dirt and she’s been growing lots of new leaves! some are tiny and it seems curled. will they grow bigger? or uncurl? advise welcomed. thanks!
