Hi all,
I bought this plant and the tag said “mini bonsai”
I bought specific bonsai rock soil and put in a well drained pot as requested for bonsai plants. It’s literally been dropping leaves constantly or browning edges. I tried to read up on what I need to do for it but no matter what I try, it keeps getting worse. It’s in a well lit area, no direct sunlight that could cause burning. The only thing I can think of is that I’m somehow messing up the watering schedule?
Can anyone help?
TIA

hey guys!
so I’ve had this succulent (pictured below — not sure of the exact type) for two or so months now, and she’s been super happy. I left home last Sunday, having watered her that day and left her in a well-lit room, and came back this afternoon (following Saturday) to find her like this. one of the leaves fell right off when i gently touched it. i’m so confused as to what’s gone wrong — any ideas, and anything about how I fix it? i have a cat but he couldn’t have gotten into the room, there are some plants nearby (a foot or so away?) but all of them are completely healthy. i recently haven’t had any kind of ceramic tray to place under her like i usually would so she’s been on paper towel — could that be an issue?
as you can probably tell, I’m just very confused and desperate for any advice anyone can give. please let me know if you have any idea what’s going on, or if you have specific questions that might help to narrow it down!! thank you so much!! pictures attached of the plant afterwards, I couldn’t find a photo of how it looked previously, but the leaves were a brighter green and much fuller. I also just noticed some small black flies gathering around the pot.

Eeeeeek 🫣 ok I did it I cut my Monstera because it was so laggy and looked terrible. The aerial roots are so long. Do I put them inside the jar as well or should I cut them down a bit before placing them into water?
Also if I just leave the little cut branches in the soil , do you think that they’ll grow new leaves ???

This post is part of my other post that I couldn’t take as many pictures as I’d like so I made another post. My Monstera that I overwatered two weeks ago is very leggy probably because of where she’s put in the winter time as I live in Saskatchewan Canada, we’re doing renovations and so I have to put her in a different part of the house during the winter where she gets some sun, but not as much as she would like.
I’ve seen videos where they chop it down and start again ? I’m not sure if I should do that or even how or just leave it alone but here’s a picture and maybe someone can help me, give me advice because I’m in need of all the help I can get. It might not be the right time to do this since summer’s half over as well.
What do you guys think? Unless maybe it’s supposed to be like that and I’m just overthinking. But the bottom part of the biggest stem that holds the biggest leaf is thinner closer to the potting soil then it is up where the leaves are. I usually have it taped with planters tape to the pole. I just untaped it to show you.

I was given this plant for my birthday in April from my son and I think I overwatered it. I’m 100,000% sure that I overwatered it but it’s with this other plant who seems to be doing fine and the other plant also died. Do I repot this little aloe? Do I keep it in the same kind of mix? I only have normal potting soil but I could take some from the pot you see here ? I guess I would have to repot both plants cause you can’t just leave this other plants in a big pot like this, please help I’m not sure what I should do. I was told to just leave it alone so I have. But it’s getting worse.

I just got two Dottie rose painted calatheas in the mail. Both look very healthy. I examined them and don't see any kind of sign of pests, other than one leaf from both plants seems to have some perfectly sized holes all the way across the leaf. I rinsed the plants, checked the roots and the soil, and treated with the Sexy Plant Spray. I'm just wondering if I need to be concerned about these holes. Is it a pest issue or something else?

My M. Adonasii also has something up with this leaf yellowing/browning, esp older growth. I think it’s dry, warm air causing it. Considering increasing the water frequency, also changing to a terra cotta pot along with a soil amendment just around the root ball, not disturbing the roots much. Is the terra cotta going in the wrong direction? Any thoughts?

HELP! I got this Jade plant from my friend and her house was around 65 degrees. It has not liked my house(around 75degrees) and was about 3x as voluminous when I first got it. Since then it has been dropping good leaves and yellowing ones. I’ve given it different amounts of light moving it around my house too. Please help! He’s dyingggg!! 😭😭 what should I do??

I posted about Ruby, my ruby cascade who hadn’t been thriving. I decided the repot her because she seemed to be in a potting soil that was holding onto too much water. I also bought a watering meter, which has been fantastic.
She’s now in a plastic pot with drainage and chunky soil. I have her in my east facing window with direct view of the sky. Do you think she looks OK? I might be over optimistic but I think she looks slightly perkier and fewer leaves are dropping.
I was nervous about repotting her because I damaged my pepperspot with repotting and probably killed her.

While bringing some of my larger plants outside for a nice sunny day, I discovered this yellow slime/mold/fungus in the pot of Roger, my large philodendron and gateway plant. It appears to be otherwise healthy. I suppose this is what I get for putting the plant on a shelf taller than I am. When I had it on the ground my dog took a bite out of a new leaf (she’s okay!) and was unhappy for a few days.
Any advice? Should I be concerned or is this just a weird benign fuzz?
Apologies for the undies on the rack. Dog tax included.

Do you think this is spider mites or an actual spider?
I see a badly shaped web on my plant that doesn’t seem to have any real purpose like a real spider’s web would which leads me to believe this may be a spider mite issue 😞
Please give opinions so I can treat asap or leave a little guy alone!

So I had to leave for 2 weeks and hired a plant sitter who did quite well on all my plants except this Norfolk pine. It seems to have been over watered as the soil is soggy. I gave it an immediate drying out and repot into better soil, removed the rotted roots and yellow branches, but there are these curled branches that aren't all gone but slightly more firm than the soft flexible branches of a healthy pine. Anybody have anything that could help? (The lighter green branches spotted around are okay but I'm not sure how much longer they have or if they are going to be fine.

Helllpppp. I clipped this leaf about a week ago and it’s still browning. Am I over watering? Does it need to be upsized into a bigger pot?

This beautiful Milky Way Plant is flaming out. I see enough green in it to think I might be able to revive it. Does any one have any insight? Is this overwatering… or under? I want to stage an intervention for this stressed plant but I don’t know what to do. I threw a grow light on it out of desperation an hour ago.

Hi guys! Someone please help this plant was so beautiful when I got it about two months ago and I think I was over watering it because there was a lot of soft yellow leaves so I haven’t watered it in quite a while and the soil is very dry but it looks like this, and I cut all of the Leaves off that were yellow when I first realized it was overwatered so all of this has happened within the past week or so and these photos.

I’m not sure what to do. Please help! It rained a lot while I was gone for the day and a lot of water was just sitting. I dumped out a lot of the water and created another hole at the bottom of the pot. I cut off a lot of the dead flowers already and leaves. I will cut off that flower. I have watered it a few times because it’s been in the 90s. I’m not sure exactly if I should take it out and repot it, or what. Please help me!!!
