Is it worthwhile to cross-post? I posted in the plants recovery room forum already, is it fair to say most everyone will see my cry for help there and I should post it too? I don't want to be a pest (see what I did there) but i also need as much help as I can get:) 💜

Hi, I have had this angel wing jasmine for over a year. It was doing very well but over the past 2 months it lost most of its leaves and I had to cut most of the stems as they were dry. I believe that it was initially an underwatering problem however, currently I’m having difficulty reviving yet and starting new growths. The soil is damp and it has been recently fertilized. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Help! My husband picked out this Begonia for me to rescue and I honestly don’t know what to do with it. I got rid of all the old dirt and repotted since there were lil critters in it before. Since then, I’ll touch a leaf and it immediately falls off for many of the stems. I just don’t know this plant very well and just need to know if the red tinged leaves are normal, if I should just propagate it, I don’t know. Kinda lost about it. I don’t know if it’s sick or just angry at me for repotting.

my stem tore halfway a while back. recently I noticed one side of the stem is turning yellow *below* where it ripped (but the side that didn’t break is still green and the leaf looks fine). Is this yellowing okay? Or should I be worrying?

Does any one know what could be causing this please? 2 leaves started splitting a few weeks ago and today they were limp near the top so I’ve cut them off the top bits that were affected. The soil is really quite dry so I don’t think it’s overwatering? And how can I stop the rest of the plant getting infected please or prevent this from happening to other leaves? Thank you

Can someone please tell me what’s up with my plant and how I can help it? I’ll admit she could probably use more sun so I’m not sure if these are burn marks, should I water more or less?? Thank you!! :]

My poor Aralia Fabian plant has lost all of his leaves :( I noticed a few weeks ago that he was dropping all his leaves as they were limp. I repotted him to help dry him out since the soil was still damp when I lifted him up. I’m not giving up on him, but is there anything I can do to promote new leaf growth? Thanks!

I have recently transferred my vegetable garden to a greenhouse and keep it heated between 65-85 during the day and 60-70 at night! A lot of my plants the stems are browning but the fruit and veggies are still producing. Such as on my jalepano plant, eggplant , and bell pepper. I will insert a photo! But all of the plants are still producing. Is this winter burn? Are the plants dying? This is my first winter trying to keep them alive if anyone has any tips or help!!

I have a trandescantia fluminensis albovittata and the soil is always either moldy or has gnats. I have tried repotting and changing the soil but they keep coming back. I have also moved it to different lighting and changed the pot. I don’t have a picture because I already removed the mold again. What should I do? Reference of plant attached.

The new leaf on the far right is so big and heavy it’s causing the whole stem to lean back! I think it’s causing the plant a lot of stress since some older leaves started turning brown at the tips. Is it best to prune the new leaf? Or should I add a pole even though the aerial roots haven’t fully grown?

I moved my plant to a better lit room because that’s what the app said was optimal. Since I moved it the leaves are drying up more and there’s a white mold type thing in areas. Leaves that aren’t dried out are wilting. Does it just need to be watered more or is there something else going on? I would love advice. I put a pic of what it used to look like as well.

I got this ZZ plant from Target this Summer so I feel like it’s already been on borrowed time. It’s been stagnant in its growth but the leaves for the most part are still shiny and green. Today I noticed these black markings on the stems. Planta says the problem is probably overwatering or bad drainage (the pot it came in is trash but I didn’t want to further shock it by replanting). Do y’all think it’s overwatering or some kind of nefarious disease đŸ˜©?

Why?!?!?! đŸ˜© Is it possible that this drooping/browning/leaf drop on my money tree is caused by lack of light? Weirdly, the brown started at the base of the leaves rather than the tips. I’ve been away off and on for a few weeks and am pretty sure that my sister ignored my pleas to open the blinds for this plant. The timing lines up with it starting to go downhill. (I just moved to a spot where I’ve got a grow light to supplement sunlight) EDIT: I just wanted to add that I am not a total plant beginner, I am fairly experienced in terms of watering needs, root rot, pests, etc. I see no evidence of pests and while this particular tree has been picky about watering conditions, nothing has changed in the last few weeks except for the decrease in sunlight that it got. That’s why I’m asking about the sunlight! :)

I got this monkey mask/pothos combo a couple months of FB marketplace. Hydroponic in leca and the pothos is doing ok, but monkey mask is really struggling, the leaves keep browning and falling off. I wanna chop and prop that long stem but what’s the best way to do so since it’s just a stem?

I have been advised by planta that I have thrips! This specific plant I have tossed, but essentially ALL of my other plants also have signs of egg laying on a leaf or three. I have washed them with a bronner’s soap solution, and am planning to dust the soil with diatomaceous earth, and use a proper insecticidal soap. Has anyone conquered a thrips infestation?
