I got this purple passion plant around new years and she was doing really well until the last week or two. She was getting droopy, so I (bottom) watered her and she perked right up. But now sheâs worse than ever and still moist. Pic below
Is there any hope for this Calathea? Moved near grow light Hoping it might get a new shoot. Am I deluded?
Hello, so I have two polka dot plants and both arenât doing well. I donât know whatâs wrong with them. The leaves get really dry and it doesnât help when I water them and wait. This is the before and after. I donât know if itâs because itâs winter and itâs too cold in my room but all my other plants are doing fine. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks.
Help!!!! Can somebody help me, please? Idk what to do with these bugs anymore. I believe itâs called mealybug, Iâve tried so many things and it keeps coming back and itâs now spreading to other plants. It started with 2 plants and I isolated them, but the plants that are in the area where the 2 plants used to be are now getting bugs too. I already used water and soap, then rubbing alcohol with water, I also got neem oil. I gave the plant a âshowerâ, I wiped and sprayed the leaves but those bugs keep coming back and itâs killing the leaves little by little. Any advice??
Hi! So since iâve gotten my homalomena itâs been getting these like spots on it and I know itâs not variegation it looks like a disease maybe? Can anyone figure out why this is happening?
Hey Yâall! First time Monstera Mom here. Is this a problem? What can I do about it?
My elephant bush has been dropping leaves since late October. She used to be outside all day in the summer, but when it started to get colder I put her inside. She also has these brownish spots on a lot of her leaves, Iâm not sure why? I was thinking I might have over watered her and I wanted to check her roots so I repotted her in a new type of soil. Her roots seemed fine, and the old soil was still pretty wet at the very bottom when her water schedule came up. I havenât watered her yet, and now some of her leaves are starting to wrinkle. Iâve heard you arenât supposed to water them at all in the winter but Iâm not so sure. Her pot does have a drainage hole and she does get light from my window, but maybe not enough? Full sun doesnât come through my window. Maybe sheâs also in shock idk. Any thoughts?
I accidentally forgot to bring my sage inside to protect it from the freezing temperatures of Phoenix Arizona right now and when I rushed to check on them, one of the leaves were- drying up? Iâm not sure but it looks a little shriveled. My mom figured it was from the cold but Iâm not sure. Anyone know whatâs happening?
Hii all I have had this plant for over a year and continue to struggle with having leaves continue to die. I will new ones spruce up but my old ones continue to die.
Hi all. So Iâve had this spider plant for a while and sheâs just not looking too pretty. Has anybody pruned all the way down and started fresh? Any suggestions?
Hello guys, My polka dot begonia that i bought a couple of weeks ago isnât doing well. I water it regularly, and it's next to the window. But it has been freezing in Vancouver around -10 lately, so my house temp is around 21 and maybe even colder next to the window, and itâs been really gloomy. The leaves are getting dry, and theyâre losing their colours. Is there a way I can save this plant? What should I do? Thank you!
hi, ive had this plant for a while, and he constantly keeps growing and dying, dont know what to do anymore, moss is growing around it.
Hi there. Iâd welcome some feedback on my Majestic Palm. Iâve had her for a few years and sheâs always been very happy. In the summer I move her outside where she gets lots of direct sun (Iâm in Atlanta). In the cooler months she lives in this south facing window. Over the last couple of months her leaves have turned brown and crispy. I removed some but they continue to brown. I mist it every other day. Itâs not near a heater. I water as often as Planta tells me too (every couple of weeks) however the soil does feel pretty dry. I added some more potting soil with peat moss a couple months ago and that seems like it might have been the catalyst. Any ideas?
Hi all, Does anyone have experience treating new plants empirically with a pesticide or fungicide while in quarantine? The company Arber specifically recommends some of their products for this purpose. Interestingly, their products have notably different ingredients (heat killed bacteria) than most. Many of us use a variety of different Neem, alcohol, or Soap dilutions for treatment, but live found little evidence to support empiric treatment on receipt of a new plant. Thoughts?
Hi! Can anyone help me figure out whatâs going wrong with my money tree? Iâve lost leaves on all but one branch and hope I can still save it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I got a Dieffenbachia camouflage a few days ago and the leaves (2) are already turning yellow, itâs placed in the kitchen/living room with no direct contact to sunlight, what am I doing wrong :( ? Last time it was watered was 2 days ago (soil was dry ish)
Hi all my lovely birdâs paradise is infested with mealy bugs. I got rid of them a few with ago with 70% rubbing alcohol on the mature bugs then washed down my plant in the shower. Theyâre back though! How can I get rid of them for good? I just washed down the plant again and sprayed it with neem oil. Any feedback helps đđ
Help! My poor baby⊠she is a red vain and quite the drama queen, recently she has been repotted. this morning she was super floppy and limp. The room was very warm ( it was snowing outside ) and I wondered if she had been too hot, so I misted her and turned the fan on. After that I bottom watered her and it didnât help at all⊠any ideas? Thanks in advance!đ ( edit I noticed she had a small fungal spot )
My lemon tree is showing pale spots where she looks like the green part of the leaves are missing. The plant is about 2 years old and has been inside and in a south-facing window. Pot has drainage and I added citrus-specific fertilizer spikes a few months ago. Sheâs had fungus gnats before and responded well to treatment (hydrogen peroxide solution). But those didnât do this kind of damage to the leaves. One branch seems to be more affected than the others. Please help!
