My elephant bush has been dropping leaves since late October. She used to be outside all day in the summer, but when it started to get colder I put her inside. She also has these brownish spots on a lot of her leaves, I’m not sure why? I was thinking I might have over watered her and I wanted to check her roots so I repotted her in a new type of soil. Her roots seemed fine, and the old soil was still pretty wet at the very bottom when her water schedule came up. I haven’t watered her yet, and now some of her leaves are starting to wrinkle. I’ve heard you aren’t supposed to water them at all in the winter but I’m not so sure. Her pot does have a drainage hole and she does get light from my window, but maybe not enough? Full sun doesn’t come through my window. Maybe she’s also in shock idk. Any thoughts?

My jade plant did the same last year and I was convinced it would never recover. Once spring hit and the days were long and warm, it bounced back! Fast and furious too!

I’m hoping mine will bounce back as soon as spring comes!
