Hi everyone! Can anyone offer some insight or give me some tips on how to get a better looking, more uniform Monstera? I have it in a corner, kissing an east facing window but there is another south facing window right next to it and half of the monstera is reaching toward the south facing window. It’s creating a divide in the middle. I kind of want all the leaves to face the same direction… I’m not sure what to do. Any tips??

Aah help! I was about to repot this monstera and then had to unexpectedly be away for a family emergency for 6 weeks. I moved the monstera’s position right before leaving to make it easier for friends to water and it exploded in size (good to know where it likes to be). Now it has roots coming out of the top and bottom and is very thoroughly stuck in the pot. I’ve never had a plant this size become pot bound and I don’t want to break it. I’ve been soaking the pot and have tugged and wriggled but nothing seems to be budging. Any advice??

What do you think of this very first Monstera start from my big plant that was going sick on some leaves? It’s a cutie. Any info on starts would be great. I mist and do all that but want to not overwater either:)

Hey everyone , back again ! I’m concern about my Thai Constellation it’s starting to gave a slight lean to it . Everything looks healthy is this normal ? I do know it’s facing where the sun normally comes from , is it time to put a stick to support the growth ?

Hi everyone! i recently moved in with a friend with a monstera they’ve had it for years (i think they said 6) and they’ve only been watering it. I think it has so much potential and they said I’m welcome to take care of it for them, but I don’t know where to start!! I think it has a big root problem and needs repotting… Any tips would be amazing, this is my first monstera!

Hi everyone! I just got this Thai Con and was hoping you could help me diagnose these dark spots on a couple of the leaves. Is this sunburn? Fungal? Watering issues? Thanks!!

I couldn’t resist getting this monstera mint from facebook marketplace for $110 CAD(80USD). Was it a good deal? Also, leave some comments on care and advice (since I am stuck to it now)

Help! I got my Thai Con in around March, and she has been growing super fast since (5th leaf in progress!) But I’m always curious why some of the new leafs are not as full and round as others’ Thai Con (see pics below). Like for my friend her Thai Con’s split leaf looks like what you’d expect a monstera to look like. Am I doing anything wrong? Does she need more fertilizer or anything else?

Why is my monstera so floppy? It’s been this way since I’ve bought it. I’ve repotted it in May and thought it just needed time to recover. I moved it from indirect sunlight to directly in front of the window. I’m getting new leaves every couple of weeks. I give it a good soaking every 20 days or so. I fertilize 3 waterings and treat for pest every watering. My new leaves never fully harden firm. What is happening here?

So I got a new Thai con and I’ve never had one before so I want to make sure I’m supporting it correctly. Since I just got it, I don’t want to do too much to it right now. It came with a bamboo stick I was going to use that for a few months while it’s still a baby. Would this be enough support? Should I do anymore Velcro on it? Looks like the new baby leaf is drooping a bit. I was going to switch out the bamboo stick for either a plank or coco pole once it acclimates to my home and I’m ready to swap out the soil for an airy chunky mix.

Purchased this Thai constellation about two weeks ago. Just noticed the leaves started to discolor but since the plant is newish for me, I’m not sure what could be wrong. I did repot it yesterday to provide a better soil but this was when I noticed the discoloration.

Just received this beauty from a friend! She’s a bit wild. Do I chop and prop? I’d like to get her onto a support eventually but right now she’s very wide - looks like there are multiple plants in here

Does anybody know of a homemade Fusarium fungicide. And also should I worry about this still.

Hi, thank you to this community for giving me so much help and information. I am still considering getting a monstera from my local nursery. They have one that I really like. I was thinking of putting it in the is location and getting a plant stand to raise it 8-13 inches off the floor. This window faces the east. There are trees in the yard so it’s a lovely dappled indirect light and my other plants are doing very well here.
