Was thinking about getting a monstera Thai con tattoo. I’m just so in love with this plant it’s unbelievable how much I’ve learned in a few months and I cannot wait for that knowledge to grow as we do. Much love tiny plant family😊
Hi, I just noticed this yellow spot that is starting to die. I don’t know what’s happening. Can someone help? Normally, he stays in my basement with me in the bedroom. A few days ago, I brought him upstairs for water and fertilization. This was not here before, but now it is he got brought up to an area that is natural light compared to a plant light so I don’t know if that is the issue.
Im assuming this new leaf is done for already.. but is there ANY way to save it😬?
New leaf incoming 🥰 so exciting ☺️
I am still very new to owning my monstera and I have a few questions. Hopefully my photo is helpful! 1- Do I need to buy a stick or something to help hold it up? If so are there any on Amazon that you’d recommend? 2- Is the browning on the leaves normal, or is something wrong? 3- When do you typically need to repot them? And how much larger should the new pot be? Do they like having tighter roots rather than more space? Thank you!😊
🚨beginner🚨 I’ve never owned a monstera before, but have just been gifted one, any and all advice is needed!! Light needs, watering, general tips, anything!
Finally a new leaf!! Ive had this Thai con for about a month now & was worried it wasnt doing well with the change of environment. I ordered a grow light, left it on for 6 hours & woke up the next day to some new growth. This has been 5 days since & very excited to see this unfurl 😊😊
Freaking F I N A L L Y 🙂 What a beautiful new leaf! If you’ve seen any of my previous posts.. you know I’ve been impatiently watching her unfurl. Can you imagine my excitement waking up this morning?! Hi 👋🏼 I’m Taylor & a first time monstera owner. I would appreciate any pro tips or advice to keep my baby happy & healthy. Right now she receives filtered sunlight through my skylight windows in my sunroom. But she mostly loves the window behind her that has a covered patio. I also have a grow light that I use a good chunk of the day that is full spectrum. Just not exactly sure what is best & how much light to give. Thank you in advance 😌
My first new growth from my thai con, and I think it's going to be an absolute MONSTER 😍🤘
Oh nooo! What had happened to my roots?! Help! The leca are stuck on them?!
It’s been about two weeks with my Monstera! I had a hard time in the beginning adapting to help it grow (as well as my spider plant) What’s some tricks to benefit my monstera, I have gotten a light lamp since I don’t have enough sunlight through the day! How much does everyone water and how much water is good! Any advice would help! 🌱
MY FIRST FENESTRATED LEAF!!!
Newish plant parent. Completely new to monsteras. This is my first one and it hasn’t really grown much in the weeks I’ve had it. I did cut some damage off the leaves. Looking for any tips, if it looks like I’m doing anything wrong let me know!
i recently got a thai con which came in a self watering pot, but i'm not using hydro/ semi-hydro medium. i've taken out the self-watering thread and instead put pebbles & water in the resovoir below the actual plastic pot the roots sit in for extra humidity. is this setup okay? will this increase chance of root rot or will my monstera be fine? (that new leaf has unfurled and is fully fenestrated!)
i just saw this brown spot idk what it is :( help please
Does this look okay as far as where I’ve placed the pole and tie? She was leaning heavily the opposite way of the pole. Just not sure if I did this right. Thanks in advance!
My baby has her first fenestration!!!!! I’m so happy and proud!!
Guys!!! Is this an underwater issue? 😭 The yellow spot on the leaf? Help!!! 🙏🏼🫶🏻
Hi! One of my in-laws recently gifted me a couple of plants, as well as these clippings. She insisted is was a type of Monstera but she didn’t know which one. I tried looking it up via Google Image search but that said it was a kind of Philodendron. I want to make sure I take care of this plant properly, so can anyone help me identify it? I’m happy to share more info/photos if needed. Thanks in advance!
