I just got this monstera albo today, it’s my first monstera & it already had crispy edges. This is my first time owning a monstera, any advice on why it may be doing this?

Have been dreaming about getting a monstera for years now, finally found this bad boy in Sobeys😁 truly so excited!

Help! My monstera is growing to the left, pushed the pole to the point I had to take it out. I would like to repot it and « rotate » its axis vertically My concern are the roots. The roots at the left would be submerged in soil… unless I untangle the roots and stick them in a moss pole ? Or should I just make cuttings and start over gain. Thanks in advance ! (It’s blessing me with beautiful leaves !!)

Hi everyone! I would really appreciate some advice on helping out my sad monstera albo. It’s a top cutting that I purchased in early November. I potted it in a well-draining tropical soil mix when it arrived (realize now that I perhaps should have put it in water for a bit instead). The leaves have been droopy the whole time, but I see two small aerial roots developing near the coir pool. I don’t water often (I’m using a plant water meter and a chopstick to test). I mist regularly and keep the humidity at 60% minimum. I’ll greatly appreciate any support you can offer! Thank you!

I have these 2 moss poles I’m trying to decide between for my monstera to replace the current one. I want one that the aerial roots can grow into. I like the idea of the smaller one but will it be big enough for it? Or do I need the bigger 3.5 in width one?

They had to come home with me- their leaves were yelling “take me home!” So…I did, lol!🪴

any tips on what to do? my monstera was doing amazing but a leaf turned yellow & one leaf is starting to dry at the tip! she gets watered regularly & has a grow light to mimic the sun during the winter!

Hi plant parents I tried to propagate my monstera 2 weeks ago and today I saw these tiny roots on the aerial roots but all the videos I saw they have roots on the stems or node (I don’t know what we call it) and it doesn’t have any roots on the stem or node. Is it normal? Is it good? Is there anything I should do?

Controversial Question: Do you rotate any of your monsteras? Why or why not?

Help!!!! Monstara was doing well and developed root rot. Lost a few leaves and lost its root ball.. trying to propagate past 2-3 weeks and have seen no new root growth. Is she done for? Any suggestions ?

I just picked up this from Costco. Its leaves seemed so green! It appears to be TWO plants in the pot, on opposite sides of each other. The nursery pot is starting to get an oval shape (and the thicker plastic outer pot also is forced to take the shape when it’s in it). As soon as I got home, I watered it in the tub as it was VERY dry. Letting it drain now for a while before I put it back in. Being a first timer here, what do I do with this plant? Should I separate into two unique plants altogether? How long do I wait to do that? What is the best soil mix? So many questions! Hoping someone out there can give me some advice of what to do to ensure it is cared for.

Hi everyone! I have a monstera prop in water. Some roots have formed but it noticed just now that it looks like this. I’ve never seen that happen. I changed the water about 5 days ago. It doesn’t smell like rot and it’s not squishy. The black part is still firm. What should I do?

Advice needed. A friend of my fiancé was decommissioning a building of IT equipment and rescued this abandoned monster of a plant. I’m WAY in over my head. I cut all the dead leaves off but don’t know where to go from here. I need advice on everything from repotting (soil, pot size etc) to long term growth, sunlight, how to help this thing climb, propagation. You name it. My fiancé wants to throw it out but my heart can’t. Please help, thank you
