Managed to get my hands on this gorgeous Hawaiian Pothos for $12 at a local nursery yesterday. There were hardly any roots coming from the bottom of the pot, so you can imagine my surprise when I started to loosen the plastic and it was as hard as a rock 😂 ended up freeing as many roots as possible & trimming before repotting. Even after pruning the damaged leaves, she’s still super full and now happily attached to a moss pole.

Meet Plantasaurus Rex! He was just 2 leaves when I got him and almost 2 years later, he has 13!

New cabinet up with custom shelves. The fans will be installed on Friday. It’s called The Mean Girls Table. Someone here gave me the name as inspiration (Matt? Where you at?)

My Diffenbachia propagations are finally growing! 3 stems were at least 2 feet tall and super leggy so I chopped her up. 3/3 OG stems just started putting out new shoots. Water propagations worked much better for me than soil. 2/2 heads in water are thriving with big roots, a new leaf, and at least one new shoot. The other head in soil perished from rot. 4/6 stem chops in soil rot. The other two have no roots or growth. 2/6 stem chops in water rot. No roots or growth on any except one has a new shoot. Overall success! I never soil prop so I’m not shocked I overwatered and killed most of them.

I dead headed my pothos a couple moths back and have it propagating in a wine bottle, but I left the roots and stem to grow back and it’s coming back with a very different variegation. This has happened before with a snake plant I propagated too. Plants are wild 🥰

So exciting to watch my string props thrive in their containers! Doing some plant chores today since this will be the last week I can have full days to touch my plants before I start my new job at pike nurseries. Can’t wait to give these out to friends ☺️

I fell in love with a plant, you know how it goes, and I had the perfect spot for it. It’s hanging in the skylight in my bathroom. Getting plenty of indirect light, and steam from the shower 🌿
