I fell in love with a plant, you know how it goes, and I had the perfect spot for it. It’s hanging in the skylight in my bathroom. Getting plenty of indirect light, and steam from the shower 🌿

As much as I’m loving the plant… I’m absolutely freaking out about the skylight setup you’ve got!!!! I don’t have the same type of skylight but this has inspired me to try something similar. My upstairs bedroom and bathroom are a converted attic with sloped rectangular skylights. I’ve been dreaming of building a setup for my plants to soak up the sun and make it look like a hanging jungle!! I’ve just never found any reasonable solution for managing the weight when hanging that is still aesthetically pleasing UNTIL NOW!!

Is the metal cross a part of the window’s structure holding four panes of glass together? And where you’ve hung the plant from is that something installed to that cross section? Or it’s attached somewhere else? Im just so excited my mind wants to know all the details 😬 haha Springtime is my favorite time to revamp my plant space and this just kickstarted my brainstorming!!

The metal is part of the sky light ☺️ It’s built so I can open up the windows by a hand crank. But I prefer to us it as a plant hanger 😂
