Two new babies, bringing my child count to.....SEVENTY TWO 😍 any tips would be appreciated. I have them on a pebble tray under a grow light currently. Scared that the lace flower is maybe a little delicate to sit under a grow light all day. The other is a ruby rubber tree

I just made this cold hardy succulent arrangement for the winter patio garden 😛 What are some other hardy succulents that would make good comtainer plants for the winter?

She used to barely peek over the windowsill, now I’m wondering if I should try to contain her or just let her keep growing wild!?

All About Plants

Good morning. I just want to show how well my Peace Lily plants are doing since I became a member of Planta. They come a long way. You can actually see the difference. Thank you Planta

I need display ideas! It’s actually pretty long just have the long pieces twirled into the cup. I need to repot soon into bigger pot but want to display at the same time

Although I’ve made quite a few arrangements/displays, I’ve never done one with regular houseplants. I’ve always used succulents. So this was a little risky. The pixie lime I’m hoping will improve. It’s kinda pale because I exposed the poor plant to excessive light. The money tree I’ve only had a couple weeks. I’m sure it’s stressed from being repotted twice. I’m hoping I can get at least a few months before I need to disassemble. I’ve researched all these plants and they all have very similar care. I wanted to add a silver squill, but didn’t because it has a winter dormancy. I think the contrasting shades of green and leaf shapes turned out well.

Plant chore day after “ignoring” them for a week. My alocasias are like “Do you see me??? I see YOU!! 😂 Plus these new babies from my plant dealer! Crytosperma Johnstonii - couldn’t resist the leaves and the dealer said keep it wet and for lighting treat it like an alocasia! The “prince” Anthurium veitchii cause I can’t say no to anthuriums!

I told myself, “you don’t need a dieffenbachia crocodile. You just like it for the name. Yeah the crinkly along the vein is cool, but you don’t even like dieffenbachias any more! It’s too big, you don’t have room for a big plant.” Don’t listen to me. I was wrong. Look at these leaves. Even the stem is cool. 🐊 😍 🐊

Having to use Canva at 530 am so I can show you 10 photos at once is kinda crazy lol. I’ve already requested some new features. Anywho. Here’s an update on a few of my plants that are thriving. White Birds of Paradise: purchased her a few months ago. She’s one of my original plants I started my plant journey with. She’s FINALLLLY giving me new leaves. And 2 at the same time. Guess she’s trying to make up for lost time lol Billietiae- my first new leaf is unfurling. Not as tall as I thought it would be. But it’s right in the middle. I have a few short leaves. And a few tall ones. The new one is the first medium height one lol Golden Pothos: ever since I gave her a stick to climb, she really took off. Gonna need a taller one soon or a moss pole, and probably a bigger pot. As this little 3-4 in pot is becoming top heavy. Calathea Network: literally she was like “fine, here’s your new leaf” lol barely any stem, just a leaf haha Lemon Lime Philo: loves this spot, growing tall. Manjula Pothos: I love the variegation it’s giving me. Especially this split leaf. Blushing Philo: looks like we’re gonna sacrifice a couple leaves soon and is putting out a new one. The Other Calatheas: Pink Star is taking off again. Giving me 2 new leaves. She must be happy with her cousins. My medallion calathea, or what’s left of her is in the glass cup. Hoping to recover this one with time. Pink star was near the same condition and turned around. I’m hoping this one might do the same. Alocasia Poly: They both try to one up each other. If one puts out a leaf, then so does the other. I love the detail of the new leaf on one of them and the other one’s new leaf is still growing.
