I just made this cold hardy succulent arrangement for the winter patio garden 😛 What are some other hardy succulents that would make good comtainer plants for the winter?

A caveat. Depends where you live of course but cold hardy plants can’t deal with very cold temps in planters compared to being planted in the ground. Their low temps tolerance will be different.

Oh no everything in this pot is rated to zone 5 or below, I live in zone 7b. I have overwintered them in pots outside before, they do wonderfully. I just was asking if anyone knew if there were other ones that would look turgid and evergreen for the winter.

You’re doing better than me then. I’m actually in same zone. Only a few survived the first year. I even protected them from excessive rain and snow. Asked the nursery what happened and they told me it was because I had them in pots.

Zone 7b gang 😜 haha yeah they are actually very easy to overwinter in planters, even with excessive snow and ice. You just need to give them a good soil with some drainage. The one time I lost a few (Semps and Delosperma) was because I planted them in a pot that was too deep, and the soil was part garden soil, and thus lacked drainage. That plus too much rain/snow.
