Hmmm… I think there is a common culprit to this. When I walk to close to a plant while holding my 6 month old, his plant obsession is starting early! 🤣😂 Don’t let those adorable little hands fool ya, they’re as fast as lightning!

Traded this plant last year for an Obliqua cutting. Thing is out of control. Grows like crazy. Already removed over 10 leaves. Was about 3 ft when I got it. It’s almost 7 ft now.

I believe I have finally found a plant that’s not meant for me. The caladiums lol. I’ve managed to kill off almost all of them. It’s Crazy that I can nurse a calathea back to health from imminent death and no leaves. But I can’t seem to keep a few caladiums alive. I had gotten like six or seven off them off marketplace all at once and I didn’t really know anything about them so I was just kind of winging it lol I just really liked the variations and all their leaves. They’re beautiful. The one in the big pot used to be huge. I’m gonna repot it before it totally dies as I’m not a fan of whatever that guys soil mix was. It looks and feels like gravel off the side of the road lol

Friday I decided to build this book/plant shelf. Liking it more than expected. Not sure how much light the plants in the middle of the shelf will get. In that situation that you find a really cute spot for the plant but… does it get optimal light🤷🏼‍♀️ Also taking suggestions for a 3rd plant for the very top left.

Very pleased last 2-4days the difference in this sunflower. It's in kitchen where there is most light. Also it us being given plant food every 2wks(only give to actively growing plants. ) The dwarf sunflower has flowered early.and quick and are some signs it not overly happy leaf wise think it combination of things really grom when first planted . Sunflowers past year seems to be where I overall do well with compared to some.of other plants . :)

Does anybody have an avocado indoor? Mine was doing really well and I guess she still is. But it's winter time so the heat is on and her older leaves are getting super crispy. Although, I don't know if as she grows I'm supposed to be taking them off? She's growing really well but so dry. I just have never had one before and I am really unsure of.....what to do with her 😂

Just wanted to share my classic and my curly spider plants. I just did their winter grooming. They live on my deck outside year round. I am in sf Bay Area. They hated it in the house. The curly is only 2 years old. The other about 6 or so.

Really on the struggle bus with my plants right now. My cat palm is browning up quickly. Soil isn’t really holding water, might be time for a repot then. I just gave it a good soaking, and didn’t realize I was using hot water, so that’ll be interesting. I did switch it back to cold and soak it some more to cool it off. My African violet that I thought was dead decided to show signs of life lol And my used to be beautiful manjula pothos is down to 2 leaves, I have placed those two leaves into water and hoping for the best. I just need spring to hurry up and get here. Winter is too hard lol
