Does anybody have an avocado indoor? Mine was doing really well and I guess she still is. But it's winter time so the heat is on and her older leaves are getting super crispy. Although, I don't know if as she grows I'm supposed to be taking them off? She's growing really well but so dry. I just have never had one before and I am really unsure of.....what to do with her 😂

Maybe underwatering. Or change the room the plant is in.sometimes that makes a difference .sometimes . Prooning /taking off leaves can be helpful as can give room and any light to new life/leaves etc. X

I'm just really scared to move her away from the grow light.....but maybe that's what's burning her? She's been under it since she started growing though, I'll try and move her somewhere

I understand sometimes can have to much light/head avocado plants bout 15yr ago at least a colleague put a wooden stick through avocado pip and it was just above wet soil in a pot. She was from part of africa and said over in uk the avacado itself takes about 10yr/11yr.to grow due to heat. I cudnt tell u the outcome as long ago cant remember .t

Yeh grow light important but maybe look at how long for as the plant is actively growing or grown so may not.need to leave it under a grow light all day every day. It cud be nutrients possibly.it needs. Hopefully ya research and others can aid. Xxxx

I'm experiencing the same thing. I had 3 plants, my nephew and I did an experiment last summer.. One seemed to have dried up overnight. They were in an east facing window sill. But with the freezing temps lately, I think they got cold. So, I moved the remaining ones a little further away. I'm also going to try more humidity. Not sure if this helps your situation, or even if mine will improve. 🤞
