i saved this from my sisters house! & i was wondering why the leaves won’t open up? they have been like that for a couple of weeks… i have a cool mist humidifier in the room with it!

I’ve noticed some interesting variegation coming into my prayer plant this week 🌱 this shoot is actually the biggest leaf that’s grown since I planted a cutting from a Rabbit Tracks Maranta directly next to a cutting from a Lemon Lime Maranta in an effort to save two struggling plants… could just be a coincidence, but it almost looks like a mix of both varietals! 🤷🏼♀️

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone knew what specific type of calathea this is? I was also wondering if I should repot it in a bigger pot because it is very full, has a bunch of new leaves sprouting out and some of the roots are coming out of the surface of the soil?!

Does anybody know why my leopardina prayer plants leaves are curling and drooping? I bought it in the water bowl a few months ago and it’s been fine until now should I put it in soil??

My lemon lime prayer plant is closing its leaves early (when the sun is still out) is this normal or is it getting too much sun? It is in an east facing window and gets sun from around 6am to 8pm (14 ish hours). ???

My rattlesnake plant’s newer leaves are coming in with green backs and then gradually getting some of the beautiful burgundy to start showing. Is this normal? I’m completely new to this plant and being a plant mom, in general. I included a picture showing the position of my grow light. Too far? Too close? Just right? I have a container of water under the plant for humidity.

Would anyone know what the cause of these little brown spots on my mosaic leaf calathea are and how to stop it? Not too many spots as you can see, the plant seems otherwise happy.

I got this beautiful variegated maranta for my birthday but it seems to be tightening its leaves together which is a shame because of how pretty it is. Anyone know why this is happening and if it is normal or not? That is what it looked like when i first got it.

Hello! I’ve just got this rescue prayer plant. I think it’s a wishbone. I have a baby one who is living its best life but would like to know any tips for bringing this new one back to a healthy life. I just got her from my great grandmother who had a tendency to cut off leaves, even if they were healthy, just cus they got in her way. (She’s in her late 90s so please excuse her) So this plant hasn’t had the best life. Any tips are appreciated!!

My Calathea I’ve had for about a year, her ends started drying out this winter and I think maybe I cut her back too far. I thought she was done for but she’s sprouted new life! That being said I’m thinking she may always be small now. Would it be a bad idea to plant another start of a Calathea with her?

My beaut has been shooting out leaves like crazy 🪴 since I’ve got her we have 4 leaves completely open & waiting for 5 to open up 💕 she was in such rough shape when I got her.
