Would anyone know what the cause of these little brown spots on my mosaic leaf calathea are and how to stop it? Not too many spots as you can see, the plant seems otherwise happy.

    Have the spots developed since you’ve had it? Mine had these from mechanical damage before I got it, but as long as they’re not actively appearing, the plant will be fine and will *eventually* replace those leaves with bigger more beautiful ones.

      Yes, but I’ve had the plant for nearly a year and it’s never been more than a couple spots or the edge of a leaf turning crispy.

      Could just be from a slight watering imbalance. I wouldn’t stress unless the problem escalates.
