I want to try to propagate my pothos. When I cut it do I put it right in water or should I wait a bit?

Propagation friends! For those of you that really get off on good root development. I had this Banyan Rot leaf in water for a long time. Then one poke of a root, then a few, then holy explosion. I’m going to plant now but don’t k ow what to expect. Will the leaf start growing taller or will a new baby tree start to shoot up in front of the leaf, the way snake props do? How long til I have a little tree?

Just here to share some morning excitement with people who care lol! After 23 days in the prop station I am finally starting to see signs of life from my polka dot plant cuttings!! I lost three but 50% lived. I am so happy with that🤩🤩🤩 I finally decided to pot up my neon pothos cutting today in celebration 🥳 so here’s to his graduation too! 👏🥳👏🥳

CORM/ BLACK VELVETS I’ve been growing these black velvet corms, there are two questions I have about this matter. 1. Can I move these babies to LECA, I’ve been wanting to love them to leca they do have their secondary roots (little ones) but I feels like they’re not growing anymore under the grow light 2. If I do move them to LECA are the clay balls I’ve shown large enough? I’ve shown a size comparison to the baby black velvets The only reason I want to move them even though they are so small is because it seems like haven’t been growing in the past few weeks I put them in a new larger prop box They have enough water and fertilizer in the box which is perlite and sphagnum moss mixed together, there’s enough humidity and heat and I’m still not sure why they’re not growing anymore.

Alright ladies and gents…. Please give me your suggestions for my new baby hoya krimson queen. She came in the mail looking a little rough. This is my first time buying a prop (I usually prop them myself), so I’m open to ideas!

Is this enough for me to put in soil? Or should I wait a little longer?

Hi. It’s me again. I just posted about Hoya cuttings, but I wanted to make a separate post for alocasia corms. I have four corms at various stages of development: one variegated frydeck which has rooted, and three quilted dreams which have all sprouted. One of the quilted dreams corms is doing really well, so I want to know what next steps are for it. As you can see they are in mini cup greenhouses and I have not watered them since I put them in there several weeks ago. The base is stratum and perlite. When do I go onto the next steps for these and what are those steps please?

I have some Hoya cuttings that I placed in stratum and water and they have now rooted. What are my next steps? I have been keeping them in a greenhouse that has been around 82% humidity. My ambient house humidity is around 55%. I also kept them pretty full with moisture so I don’t know if they’re considered more hydroponic than semi hydroponic. Here are my questions: 1) Can I go straight to soil and take them out of the greenhouse or should I try just having less water in the stratum for a while, and if so, for how long? 2) If I go to soil, is my regular tropical soil mix OK, or should I maybe add some peat or sphagnum moss or something to it for a while? 3) is there a magic number of roots to wait for before I change them or should I wait until they start putting out new growth? Thank you for any help you can give me.

How should I propagate this? It’s building a roof system in a weird spot, I’m afraid of cutting it wrong and killing the plant

3 weeks ago I chopped my ficus tineke and burgundy to encourage them both to branch out. 🌿 Today I was able to pot up the cutting that had lovely roots! Now to find them new homes with some of my favorite people ☺️

After some tips for planting up my monstera cuttings. My original plant gave up due to overwatering (I think) a couple of months ago. I managed to rescue these nodes and propagate in water but no clue what to do next….help appreciated!
