Hey my plant people. I got this purple waffle plant last summer for $1 my rehab š¤. Now sheās gotten tall and I got my first flowering. I want to make the pot fuller though. Anyone had success propagating into the same pot to make fuller.

This Aloe maculata (I think) was gifted to me a couple months ago with an avocado plant that I sadly waited too long to recover and let die in the cold garage without watering. I finally decided today to trim all of its dead leaves. I have hopes for this because of that little bit of green under the cut, discolored leaves. How should I water this with it being rotten? Did I bury it deep enough? I watered it today before leaving it alone for some weeks. Should I not have done so? I've never worked with a cactus before but I've already accidentally killed almost all 6 of the plants gifted too me over the past year (Plumeria obtusa, gardenia Jasminoidea, and an avocado plant). Such has happened either because of overwatering, too much focus on growing veggie seeds, or the same focus on making my concrete garden bed. I don't want the same to happen to this one. I have a tad bit of hope because I hear šµs don't need near as much water.
I got these from a coworker six months ago. Iāve seen new leaves but I donāt know how to transplant and take off the tops indefinitely without killing them or at least thereās some concern I might shock the orchids. Anyone have advice for moving these orchid babies into orchid pots? Thank you!
I'm first alocasia corm has a leaf
Excited for spring 1/4 areas of my plants š±
I Got this P. Whipple Way Mint a few days ago, itās just a top cutting with very small roots at the moment. My question: should I chop the drooping leaf to help it focus its energy elsewhere? Or would that hurt it at this stage?
How can I propagate this plant? A lot of the leaves to the bottom part of the plant has died off and I donāt want it looking so bare. It does have a new leaf coming in. Should I wait for that to open up? I also had a trim around a lot of the leaves because they were yellow and brown. I just want my plant looking fresh again.
I have more than what is shown, a friend passed and I have all of these now, I've never had more than one kind of plant in a pot at once, what would you guys do? Repot them all? I live in west ga. Freezing cold right now also so I have to wait and they're starting to droop š
Hello everyone, when do you all add propagated plants to your Planta records? I propagated some succulent leaves that are now growing plantlets but I donāt know if I should log them yet or if I shouldāve added them some time ago. Some of these guys have the leaf they grew off of still attached, others have already dropped it. Some have one plantlet, most have two, and one has no plantlet yet although it has rooted. At what stage would you add a new little guy to your plant log? I was thinking once a plantlet appears but sometimes a second plantlet will appear later, although Iām not sure that really matters to the app. I was also thinking that once the original leaf/cutting roots it would be ok to add but that might be too early since no new plant would be present, and the original leaf is not going to stay anyway. Iām not sure which of my little guys I should log, if any. The 1st pot on the left is the only one with roots but no plantlet. All other pots have plantlets, although some have their original leaf attached while others donāt. Most pots have two leafs propagating but others are solo. If anyone would be able to provide feedback or advice I would greatly appreciate it!
I have this cutting⦠any advice if thereās anywhere else I can cut to trim it down? And any recommendations for water prop or straight into soil? TIAš
Almost 4months so big now āŗļøsuper happy for my first try
So excited for the roots my props are growing. I am fairly new to this so definately geeking out over here.
Novaās leaves are still firm and she seems happy! If itās been a week and a few days in her new home can I assume my Jade cutting has formed some roots!!?
A string fell off my string of hearts so Iām trying to propagate it. Will this work? Itās under a grow light.
I really hope Trident takes root! I love how he looks in his new home!!!!!
Tridentās potting day has finally arrived!!!
Little update on jade leaf propagation, 3 month in going well i would say. Anyone have any suggestions to speed up there growth :)
Hi! I was just wanting to get others thoughts on this string of turtles to see if I need to upgrade pot size and propagate some of it? Iām afraid itās getting too crowded in this small pot, they seem to be layering up but I also know they have small roots.
Another one of my first props!! She was in two separate jars but today I combined them in a new jar!! They are doing so amazing from the roots to the new growth on the foliage!! I absolutely love them šš±š!!
One of my very first propagations!! Sheās been in smaller jars so I moved her to this bigger jar cuz her roots are growing so big and so strong!! Iām thinking Iāll keep her a water š§ plant!! I just hope she does as well in this jar as she did the smaller one!! I combined them from the two smaller containers and put them together!! I think they look so beautiful š¤©!!
