Any tips to propagate? I’ve tried a few times with pothos and scindapsus and it seems they just die after a bit, one grew a big root and then it turned brown, what have I been doing wrong?

Is this just calloused or could it potentially be root rot? I thought I cut it far enough to be ok to propagate

Hi guys! I’m planning to propagate my monstera this spring because it’s growing in so many different directions! Will I have better luck if I pick the larger, stronger stems to propagate or the smaller, thinner ones? Either way I’m excited for this plant to be more of a manageable size

Does anyone have tips for successful planting of water propagations? I planted one that was successful and another one that died! I know long roots and secondary roots are key, but is there any other tips? Should the soil be moist for a few days as it acclimates?

A piece of this Mini Monstera broke off at my work and I took it home in the hopes I could keep it growing. Any care advice for helping it thrive? Right now I just have it in some water under some grow lights.

I’ve got a kalanchoe that was struggling (the left most one in dark navy pot). The super healthy one on the right (in the back) is his propagated baby from about a year ago. The three small ones on the right are my new attempts at propagating! I have no memory of how I propagated the first one, but water didn’t seem to be going well with the new ones. Here’s hoping the new babies are just as happy!!

Y’all I just finished potting my tradesentia (Idk if I spelled that right) aka my wandering Jew into its pot again. She was pretty much dead and only the ends were alive so hopefully she’s good to go!!!!!

My aloe has lots of babies that have been growing a minute, is it safe for me to pot them separately at this point?

Hey a couple of nuggets fell off while I was repotting lost night. Can I propagate these? I threw them in water just in case.

Part of my aloe plant died but I have two that look like this. There are no roots, how should I propagate them? Thanks in advance! :)

Two of my fail proof propagation methods here - an empty chicken tender container from the grocery store and ziplock baggies. They’re in the “set it and forget it” stage but I noticed they’re all growing strong roots! It’s about 2 months since I started and I’ll transplant them to pots when it warms up in a few weeks. It results in SO many, I give about 100 little succulents away at the end of summer. ❤️

just some quick questions. for background, i planted some eucalyptus seeds, white sage seeds, pepper seeds, and tried the butterfly method to propagate my string of hearts. On the bottom of my shelf is one of the sage and the pepper seeds, middle shelf is eucalyptus, and top shelf is 2 more sage and the middle is the string of hearts. the post-it notes are the days i started those seeds. 1) is the humidity beginning to be to much from the domes and plastic baggies? there are lots of water droplets on the inside of the domes and bags and i’m getting worried that it might start getting to much. how do i know when it is too much and when should i remove the domes? 2) my eucalyptus seeds were doing ok, i had two cups with two sprouts each, but one with nothing. i went away for 5 days but made sure to have my sister water them the same way i was, but i came back and there was no new growth, and one of them even died. what should i do to fix it? 3) the string of hearts ( middle humidity dome on the top shelf) has not started growing any roots yet and i started it on feb. 1st. what should i be doing that i might not already be doing? sorry this was so long but i would really love some help!
