I purchased 10 bare root strawberry plants this spring and they are growing like crazy. They are June bearing Allstars and I have been pinching both suckers and flowers to the plants to focus on root growth until next year. That said, several of them have developed multiple crowns and I am wondering if I should separate the crowns into individual plants and if so, should I do it now, or when they are dormant this winter. I have a “3-year plan” for my berry patch. Year 1, pinch all suckers and flowers, year 2 and 3 pinch suckers until after fruit is harvested. Plants older than 3 years tend to produce less so may or may not be removed. If I split the crowns, they have to be dug up so should I now view them as year 1 again and let them re-root or go ahead and let them fruit?
I have Sparkler variety June bearing as well and more of those have multiple crowns but the super hot weather seems to be stressing them so I’m planning to leave the alone this year instead of splitting them (unless they can be spot while dormant.)
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help or make suggestions!

First time propagating super sweet cherry 100 tomatoes! Propagated in a RO water in a humidity dome left for 8 days. No changing water. Any recommendations now? Transplant to soil? 👍🔥

I’ve always water propagate pothos and I know it gives the best results….
3 and half months ago, I noticed a leaf with a stem was slowly dying so I tugged it and off it came. Decided to do my own experiment seeing if I could prop just a simple leaf and it had this tiny long “hair” that I couldn’t tell if it was a root already or not. But somehow all those months, this leaf stuck it out and continued to be most vibrant dark green, no signs of dying which baffled my mind.
Today, I went to do water change and I just noticed the roots are finally out!
Guys, what? I’ve always been told pothos are best propagate below nodes. I didn’t know this was even possible? 😳

1 year progress on Zz plant leaf propagation.
They started in water last summer which took a few months to have soil ready roots. I planted 5 leaves per pot and only 3 have sprouted new growth in each. I knew this would take a long time and although this was successful, I won’t be doing it again.
If you’re looking to propagate your Zz plant, stem cutting is the fast and easy way to go.

I need help w my prop box !!
I made this prop box about two weeks ago - it’s sphagnum moss soaked in water and Super Thrive and a small glass of water to help with humidity. First pic is when I made it, second pic is today.
There seems to be some mold growing on some of the plants - I’m worried it may be too humid AND I’m worried that the mold will spread. My plan is to take out the glass of water and any visible mold.
Any thoughts/advice ??

I have this ZZ plant I got a few days ago. I’d love to take some cuttings from her soon and propagate it so I can have more than one, but I’ve never owned this plant before and I am unsure how to do that. Does anyone have any tips, tricks, and/or advice?

Hi. I’d like to grow a lemon tree indoors. Can you start from seed from one in store purchased lemon? I can’t get a starter plant shipped to me in AK- even during summer months. Any suggestions?

Succulent leaf propagation update! I took some advice from people here when I planted the babies. The ones with small enough mother leaves (sedum and burrows tail), I left attached and planted them together with the original plant for now. The echeveria leaves were really large so I cut them to about a half inch and covered them with soil when I planted.

Hello all!
I’ve been propagating a few plants and I wanted to share the results so far! :) (I propagated all in water and transferred them to soil today)
I have a Monstera deliciosa that had some roots already
A Raven ZZ that was just the stem cut-off with 3 leaves
And A ZZ that was just a leaf cut-off
The roots have developed so much from April 28 to today!

This was my OG monstera, my son knocked her out of the pot last week and idk if the roots were knocked off or if she’s been somehow growing without them. I put it in water but the leaves don’t look great, should I chop at the base of the new growths?

Hey propagation pals! My Philo Silver Dust’s next leaf is coming in but got damaged by the store and is barely hanging in by a thread so I’m thinking of chop and prop where I circled. However, I want to be sure a new leaf will come in because this seems to be the kind of plant that comes in one leaf at a time like Hoyas and Pink Princess. If I chop where I circled, where and when will the new leaf come or will it not?

Any advice on how to propagate a monkey’s tail cactus?
Mine is mature and going through a huge growth spurt this summer. My pup accidentally knocked off a new growth, wondering if I can leave it on top of the soil and it will start new?
Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know how to propagate these? I have cuttings from a flower arrangement at work but I have no idea if it’ll root and it’s already kind drying up. Should I just wait to get the seeds?

So I’m thinking of planting these Swedish ivy/creeping Charlies should I hang them or should I put a think for them to climb on in

Hi everyone!
I was recently given an albo monstera cutting which is now only putting out green leaves. A new leaf appears to have a white line on the stem but I’m tempted to cut back to where I have put the orange line in one of the photos.
Can anyone help me understand variegation and if what I think I have learned is correct please?
