Was it wrong of me to take a few clippings to propagate from this beautiful arrangement that I’m giving to my grandmother for christmas? 🙈
How do you recommend propping a string of bananas? Ever since I got it it’s been really struggling and I think the only way left I can save it is just propping it 😭 it’s a fraction of the plant is was when I got it and I’m so sad
First time propagating, wish me luck!!! Advice is welcomed :)
first time propagator and this rubber plant cutting popped first. qq: how long do you let roots develop in water before moving to a pot?
I have a basil plant in a hydroponic set up and it is the only basil plant I’ve ever had that hasn’t died. However it is now getting a pretty woody stem and I would love some tips on propagating.
What plant is this ? It was my moms it died in her care but some how I brought it back to life I think it’s some kind of vine plant
After several unsuccessful prayer plant propitiations, I finally have 3 successful ones! Two of them are putting out a new leaf as well! Proud of my babies. I found that putting a tiny bit of liquid fertilizer in the water helps! The last picture is the momma plant! She’s been constantly putting out new leaves and flower stalks for at least 3 months!!🥺
This leaf got picked off my burgundy plant by a well meaning 2 yr old wanting to give me a “flower” 🤭❤️ I’m curious if I cud propagate it as it is?
Hi there! I am new to the plant parent community but recently had the chance to take a cutting from my indoor English Ivy. I’ve been propagating it inside water for several weeks now and have been really excited to see new roots growing. However, I have yet to add it to my Planta account. Is there anyway to add plants growing in water to our profiles so they can be part of the care routines offered on the app?
Hi! So I'm propagating string of hearts in perlite and I was wondering whether fungus gnats will leg their eggs in the perlite or not? I used perlite hoping that they wouldn't but I saw one in there today and it made me a bit worried. There is normally a lid that I placed on for humidity too
My Money Tree suffered from root rot so I took some cuttings. I’m so happy to see them growing roots as it really devastated me. Also my African Violets grows so much foliage I’ve cut a couple of leaves to propagate. They are also rooting so I’m GEEKED 🌱💚😉😉
I have had this in water for a month or so not really seeing much. Any help?
Just showing my props so far! I’m very proud of my lil babies!!
Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone has tips on how to propagate a ‘bubblegum’ transcendia. I watched a couple videos which say to place it in the soil (not water), but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any tips would be appreciated!!
Hello! I’m trying to save this spider plant. It used to be an office plant. The leaves were all messed up so I just got them off but I’m not sure if it’s even salvageable. Please let me know thanks!
I’m attempting to propagate a trandescantia with the rotten part cut off. I added root hormone and put in water. Am I correct in doing this? Thanks in advance!
hi! i chopped up my pearls and jade pothos a few weeks ago because it had a long section without leaves. they’re all doing so well and have new leaf growth (,: starting to root now as well! these are just a few of them. they’re everywhere lol
Does anyone know what plant this is?
Hey, anyone have any suggestions about propagating a ficus (rubber plant) in water? I successfully did it with a small stem, once, and gave it to a friend. Now I tried to do it again and have been much less successful and I don’t want to lose the rest of the stems I’ve already cut. Thanks in advance!
