I’m having no luck rooting my cutting from the exact same plant! They just seem to rot no matter what I do. Do you have any tips?

ah i’m sorry to hear that )): what kind of light are they getting? mine are in a south facing window room ranging 5-10 feet from the window. at first they were under a grow light for 2 weeks. it also could be the type of water they’re in. i had cleaned the glasses and let the water from the tap (it’s either river or well water) sit in them for a little while before i decided what to put in there. this particular plant had a bunch of aerial roots all along the stem so that could be a part of why mine are doing so well. i chopped them at an angle instead of straight across and had laid them all out for probably 20 minutes while i was getting everything set up. there are about 3 cuttings in each glass so they could be helping each other out idk. i’ve also had better luck propagating in jars like this where there is more room for the roots to grow rather than the test tube like glasses, which i still do use. but those seem to rot more for some reason. i’ve never used rooting hormone so i don’t know much about that on if it would help or not. & i don’t know if this is helpful or not, it’s just what i’ve done with my pothos plants and they seems to do pretty well! i also stare at them and think positive things and tell them they’re so pretty so that may help too haha :p sending positive thoughts to your plant babies!! good luck!!

Hey Molly! Thanks so much for all the help :) By the sounds of it I don’t think mine are getting enough light as they are in an east window that is quite sheltered, I also think cutting at an angle will really help too and possibly leaving them out for a little bit before putting directly in water!!! Other than that it seems very similar! Thanks for the help and support!
