Hey guys, still fairly new to gardening on a more serious level since I’m now a homeowner. My couple people let me get clippings from their hydrangeas to propagate. I did it the way I researched with rooting hormone but now my question is what would be the best way to get indirect sunlight on them? Right now I have them on my porch in a DIY mini greenhouse but I’m thinking about ordering a legit small greenhouse. What would be the best cover option or best way to do this?

You know those plant kits at your local craft store? I bought some just to see and they included a eucalyptus and a philodendron plant kit. I was shocked to wake up and see a little baby plant in the eucalyptus pot!!!

Is it ok to combine string of hearts plants? I want to make one fuller plant I have 4 at the moment as I tried propagating a few ways.
First free photos are from the same mother plant and all grown from seed pods however the last plant is the oldest one and I propagated it from a different plant so not sure if that one should go with the others ??? Any one tried

Just got a string of dolphins cutting. The cutting included the stem section where the node was attached. I cut at the node and put it in water, did I do this correctly?

Any tips on propagating a Hoya linearis??
I’m one who loves water propping so I was thinking going that route— but I’ve seen people have success with just chopping & putting it back in the soil.

Proplifted a bunch of cuttings from my friend’s plants (with permission of course 😉) and let them callous and now in water! This is my first go at water propping so any advice is welcome and appreciated!
Most of them are Hoyas (the left has a monsters peru and a dragon tail rhaphidaphora that I have had in water for awhile now). I’m relatively new to collecting and love Hoyas so I would really like to see these guys root! Oh, I also heard that putting a cutting of pothos in can help, so each bunch has a pothos cutting.

For propagating succulents, does the parent leaf fall off by itself or are you supposed to pluck it off at some point? Thanks!

Plantie friends! I need some advice, I just got this cutting last night. I believe it’s a Shell Ginger. Should I place it in water or perlite to grow roots? 🪴🫶🏽

My Ficus Tineke hasn’t been healthy in a while so I took a risk and am going to try to propagate. Here is the before and after. Any suggestions?

Ok so I chopped up my Swiss cheese philo and put it in water. Will the old nodes/aerial roots start growing again? Or do I need to put my baby in soil?

Hi. My husband had a very tall and leggy jade plant which hadn't been getting enough light. These are all bits I cut from the tops a few days ago; can I pop them straight in soil now or should I wait for tiny shoots?

Is there any way I can safely handle and propigate a gooseberry plant? My son won’t stop eating them and the original plant is dying.
