Hi all. I really hope someone can advise me. The Cylamen on the right is one I've had at home for a few months. The Cylamen on the left (poor thing) I've basically stolen from work, I couldn't bear seeing it like this anymore. It's been there for around 5 years, never repotted, in a ceramic pot with no drainage and looking much like this with a lot more yellow leaves and was never given the right conditions in it's dormancy periods. I've repotted in a plastic pot with drainage using what I had to hand (houseplant potting mix with seramis, coco coir and perlite). I read that the surface of the tuber should be at the surface to prevent rot which I've done (it was buried fairly deep before), but what's with the Shrek ears growing out of the tuber?? Is this normal, my other cyclamen doesn't have those. They're rock hard just like the main tuber. It looks very alien. She's even got flower buds, so she is trying, bless her. Any ideas or tips on what more I can do to help this poor plant would be much appreciated.

My new cryptanthus was not loving the life I gave her so I switched to a more shallow pot and removed from the growlight zone. She will be residing on the dining room table with my crocodile fern for now and hopefully things turn around.

It winter all my outside plants died except the one inside plant

My fiddle leaf fig is dying/ drooping and leaves are getting crispy and falling off. I thought maybe it wasnt getting enough light and bought a grow light that I’ve only used for a few days but worriesd that its too much? I live in a cold climate so feel like winter has been harsh betwern the cold environment and dry heat from the heater. I typically water once a week to 1.5 weeks until it drains from holes on bottom. Any tips? And should I keep the grow light?

First time propagating - So my longest time baby - Groot, lucky bamboo - officially died. I tried everything possible to save him, but this morning I came home after getting iff of work to find his main stalk squishy, yellow and discolored. I did, however, snip off the smallest piece that looked like the best part of the plant, and I have repotted him into an organic indoor potting mix. The mix was in the garage (COLD) so I poured really warm water into the mix and made sure it was evenly dispersed by mixing it in a ziploc bag, then put the piece I had into the soil. I did some research and, calling back to growing plants from seeds in gradeschool, managed to get a plastic bag over and around the pot so he could have some humidity in a humidity lacking house with some small holes to still get air, and I put a wet paper towel in with it to add moisture to the air. I did all that this morning, and I'm currently at my job on nightshift, but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Am I doing this right?

Hello! anyone have any idea as to why my whole fusion looks like this? she’s got some of the lost beautiful leaves i’ve ever seen but maybe a month ago started getting brown and a bit crusty? there’s no pests and i’m watering her the soil is moist

Is this a good sign?? It's been about 48 hours since I trimmed his root and stalk due to extreme yellowing and root rot, dried him, and about 24 hours-ish since he was put back into the water. He has a weird blueish green color appearing on the white of the inner stalk, and the yellow around the cut area and bottom is looking to turn green again. Is the blue good? Do I need to cut off the rest of the trimmed part and the strongest looking root??

Right so all explain٫ I own a plant rescue in my collage and was wondering if anybody had suggestions?. ive repotted them in smaller pots as I could tell the pots were too big which I was correct on as the roots were small٫ then cut them a bit. any suggestions?.

Yesterday I posted to the pests, diseases and problems group looking for help with my baby, Groot, I've done a LOT of pruning and trimming, temperature checked the spot I chose for him to move to, added a few pieces of sea glass and pebbles from when I first bought him three-ish years ago and I'm looking into non-smelly feetilizer (the 'tism restricts my options due to sensitivity to scent.... Fingers are crossed and he has been put back into his spot by the window after being left to dry. I've never nursed a plant back to health before, especially from root rot, so here's hoping. If anyone thinks I need to trim more, or any suggestions, let me know!!! I'm hoping that cutting it how I did - focusing on the yellow half and leaving the green - will allow him to grow more roots and absorb water better (I was also trying to keep his strongest root) (I also trimmed that yellow leaf after taking the photos)

How do I prevent the top of my soil from molding? Am I overwatering? This is happening to two of my plants, and now the mold is spreading to the stems so I’m not sure how to get it off without damaging the plant more.

I snug this baby at Lowe’s for $9.99 but now I need to show her some love. Any recommendations for what I should do are welcomed.

Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone can tell me how to save this guy. I was a bad plant mom and need to change that around, starting with bringing my first baby back from a down spiral. Any and all suggestions welcome! Please help! ✨ Thank you! Edit: Also, she seems to struggle with draining moisture fully,she stays damp for like way too long and I even have the soil that helps with that.

Hey guys, this week has been a little rough :(. I accidentally broke off a baby leaf on my maranta and my pink princess philodendron before they were opened up :(. I’m still a bit new to plants, did I ruin the possibility of them growing new leafs in those places?

My ZZ plant Ziggy has produced its first new growth since I brought her home!

I’m new to the indoor plant world and I’m not sure what the problem could be. It is also loosing leaves - they are falling off daily. Any suggestions?
