Hey guys, this week has been a little rough :(. I accidentally broke off a baby leaf on my maranta and my pink princess philodendron before they were opened up :(. I’m still a bit new to plants, did I ruin the possibility of them growing new leafs in those places?
No not at all! With good care I’m your plant will continue to grow usually by creating new shorts next to the broken ones or growing straight out of the broken area. For me I still sometimes break my plants leaves, the best advice is just to let your plant do its thing. I hope this helps :)

I agree, this is totally ok. I received an anthurium that had had a new leaf cut off before shipping, and now there's another new leaf poking out of the stump of that leaf... Life finds a way! Don't stress about it. Just keep providing care and have patience, and you'll be rewarded!
