Looking for Practical Bare Bones Hot Tips. I get depressed. And adhd distracted. And just, ya know, I go through funks. Everyone does. Mine can be very long sometimes. And my plants seriously suffer as a result. 26 of my 30 plants are semi-hydro, which kinda helps. Semihydro tends to be more forgiving in my opinion. I used to have twice as many plants. Often when I really let one deteriorate too far I can make a cutting and get a new plant started. That helps reduce my shame a bit. Does anyone else have any set-up tips or mental realizations that help when you feel like you’re plant-failing?

Found this Alocasia melo at Walmart today and am trying to revive it. What caused the brown/yellow leaves?

Does this need to be repotted? I just got this parlour palm a month ago.. yellowing leaves and brown tips. South facing window about 10-15 feet away from large window

Is this save-able? Or if all the leaves fall off with it regrow?? I’ve only had it for about a month and recently it’s been very cold here (-16 degrees) the leaves started falling off and now it’s droopy. It was in my living room with a south facing window but it was so much colder in there that I brought it upstairs to my room which is bright indirect sunlight. I have humidifiers and a light but I don’t know if either of those is helping at all. Please help!!

Hi everyone I need some help with my lucky bamboo. I can’t tell if it’s sick or not but the edges of the leaves have been getting browner and dry and the main stems are becoming increasingly wrinkly. I don’t know what to do. Does it just need more water?

Help! Is she salvageable? I think it was a humidity issues and I’ve since gotten a humidifier but is it too late?

Meet my Ficus lyrata, Annabel. She lives in my room and gets a good amount of sun from two opposite facing windows. Lately she has been loosing a lot of leaves. She finally stopped about a week ago but now she is very spindly and I am not sure how to help her recover. Can anyone help? If you need more details I would be happy to provide them. Hi guys, I finally was gonna switch my peace lily tinto water and when I cleaned it from its dirt, it was root rot so I disinfected it and put it in water and it has been getting root rot since then. Today I had to cut a big chunk of the root ball because it was getting mushy now my question is can it be saved and do I need to let it callus over before I put it back in water? Thank you.🤍🪴

Hi all! I hoping to get some advice. I had ordered some starter plants that got held up at a USPS shipping center for an extended amount of time (almost 2 weeks) before being delivered. This is the condition they arrived in, and I think they may have cold shock/damage? I was wondering if there was any way to save these poor plants? 😭 Could they regrow, or are they just done for? Any help would be appreciated!

I just saved a fishbone prayer plant that was only growing in water for two years and started to rot and die because of it, i moved it to a new pot with soil and im wondering if anyone has any tips on how to bring this back to health?

Need some advice on this calathea beauty star! I can never make it happy. I have two humidifier s going next to it, it’s about 8 feet from a south facing window. It has new growth but they always end up having tan, translucent spots (shown in third photo). I really want to revive it and make it happy. What can i do?

I saw these extremely small white bugs crawling on the leaves of my palant. I misted and wiped the leaves clean. How do I prevent these from killing my plant? Parlour Palm Tree

Hi, My friend just gave me this calathea that needs some tlc. It was thriving over the summers when outdoors, but has been downhill since coming inside for the winter. She’s been watering with tap water, so thinking the hard water is part of the problem and lack of humidity. Also planning to repot as it’s been a year or so. If anyone has other suggestions would love a second opinion! Thanks!
