RhonaI have one and got it from Home depot. I found out that being in that environment it just didn’t like it. I brought it home and put it in a great spot for light and used the app to help water it. Almost all the original leaves died off and new ones were bigger n better than that. Alocasias are a bit touchy. Oh after a few weeks I repotted it too. Took out Corms just incase and propagated it if it didn’t survive. It’s going amazing. Just give it time and love it will bounce back. .

Dead Plant SocietyI "rescued" one from Home Depot as well! I frequent their clearance racks , and get some great prices for plants I couldnt afford otherwise. Unfortunately not all my "saves" make it, but my Alocasia has 4 new sprouts that are doing well. I recommend getting rid of all the dirt from the original purchase. Big box plants tend to have fungus knats galore.
