What kinds of plants can you grow in this covered planter? I’ve tried geraniums, hydrangeas and everything tries to die. I have to take the plants out and put them elsewhere in my yard. Any advice? I think this thing is cute and I’ve seen others use it but don’t know what plants they used.

Hello! I have been growing a clematis flower and this new plant that doesn’t look like a clematis starting growing. I tried to identify it with naturalist/seek and it said walnut tree, but I’m looking for another opinion. Does anyone know if it is a clematis plant as well or something else?

My darling Fuchsia was brutally ambushed by spider mites this season. But as quickly as they came, they vanished! She is now on the mend. I'm so proud of her for pulling through 🥹

So I’m trying to grow sunflowers. And this is really my only successful one but it’s really small and I read that it won’t grow anymore once the flower comes out. If you have any tips/suggestions or are successful at growing sunflowers I would love to hear about it. I have it in a 10 gallon grow bag. I tried my soil but it’s really terrible. I couldn’t dig it up and it’s like rock although weeds find their way through it so I went with the grow bag and this sunflower survived 😁

My watermelons are coming out great! First time growing them I was nervous lol Watered regular daily. Miracle Grow Singles!! (Watered with once a week) Is the card board ok for underneath or should I get something else? They are starting to get big.

I have some sunshine ligustrum that have gotten really huge and I finally trimmed and shaped them. And I discovered THIS on one of them!! What is this?! Is this scale, or some kind of fungus? What can I do? It’s really bad… is this plant going to die? :(

Very few hydrangea blooms this year. I usually have tons of blooms. I prune and fertilize every year and the bushes are always very healthy. This year there have only been about five blooms spread over all six bushes. I am in zone 6b, Pennsylvania. Was it because we had a mild winter and/or very wet spring?

This young lilac bush has really been through it. I've had it two years. It's constantly getting chomped by deer and this year it dried out while we were out of town and lost most of its leaves. Is this guy going to survive?

Is this normal behavior for a newly planted Rhododendron (3-4 wks ago)? The first week, it would droop but then perk up after watering. Now, however, it's browning and drooping constantly. I keep it consistently moist and it gets morning sun (full afternoon shade). I'm in zone 8b, so the weather has been quite hot. I'm hoping it's just delayed transplant shock... My only hope is that the topmost leaves never droop!

A coworker gave me a hibiscus plant. She was looking incredibly droopy and many leaves were eaten by bugs. I planted her today where she will get full sun and then watered her. I also pruned off any leaves that were really eaten by bugs and sprayed with neem oil. Her roots looked healthy. I am much more into indoor plants. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations for her care?

Help please! My Dinner plate Dahlias are dying and I don’t know why or what to do. They were thriving until a few weeks ago. I was removing the bad leaves and using Neem oil to try to help the plant but it’s a losing cause. The leaves are mottled with brown spots and turning yellow before they become completely brown and dried out. The problem has become worse and the flowers are now blooming very small. I see new healthy leaves trying to grow. Any advice on how to save my poor plant is appreciated!

Please help, they’re only a week old. I was watering daily and it was looking like too much at the roots so I let them go two days without watering and they’re just getting sadder. They are in full light
