Hello everyone!
Just got this baby monstera, I have it on the corner of my desk at the moment, wondering if that’s too much light?
It’s a south facing window, it mainly catches morning light coming from the background of the picture.
Due to the angle i get mostly indirect light by late afternoon.
Should I back it off and maybe put it on the ground?

Octopus amate problem
It’s having issues lately. Leaves are turning quickly from pristine green to more and more yellowing as shown. Had for about a year and this is the first time I’m seeing this over quite a bit of the plant. I’ve seen it occasionally effect one just one petiole but never several at once.
Any ideas? It gets consistent humidity, sun, water (checked using a soil meter prior to watering). Had a bunch of scale show up and have manually cleaned them off. I’ve never seen so many turn if it’s just due to scale?

With grow lights I can utilize a lot more of my shelf space 🥰 loving this setup above my (non functional) fireplace!

Hey everyone!
I just picked this guy about one week ago. Any advice to keep it healthy and growing?
Right now it’s in a window that gets 1.5 hours of direct light maximum in the early morning, and the rest is gentle indirect light (Oregon).
Tips and Tricks?

We had to move during a snowy winter day and many of my plants froze, it’s been a month and they are so much better now. You can notice the parts of the leaves that had survived and the ones that got cauterized by the freeze, however this is an appreciation post for the strength of nature and how he is fighting with new growth in all of the branches!
There’s a skinny tall one that was just starting to grow but all of the leaves froze and it’s just branching around the middle part. Should I cut it down around that area? I’m currently waiting for all of those leaves to fall so I can make a move
Thank you for any comments, and advices 🌱

Hello Planta friends, can you help identify this beautiful plant I just got?
Planta doesn’t seem to be able to. It comes out as a Golden Photos which it clearly isn’t.
Thanks for your help!

Please help. My Cordyline has lots of dry tips. I still see new shoots often but can’t seem to make her happy. I water according to this application and she is in a southern facing window.

So, I got this plant a few weeks ago after a cold spell, it was a little bit cold damaged but not bad enough to set the plant back too far. I honestly can't tell if it is a calathea or more of a marantha? I am leaning more toward calathea, but it was labeled as a prayer plant, which I always thought was marantha. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really change the care it wants, but I am curious to know what I actually have. Any ideas?

Yellowing devils ivy. It’s always done so well but I had a lot of yellowing recently and it appeared to be pot bound so I repotted. Still continuing to yellow at the lower leaves. Any advice?
