I want my “whale fin” Sansevieria plant to look like first photo wide and flat-ish. Instead it looks crooked and very slow growing. It’s healthy, it has proper light, but it’s not esthetically pleasing. Any advice?

Mr Spid has definitely been over eating this summer! I will have to get him a new school uniform when the new term starts! 😆. First photo I took today, verses the one I took in July! Every time I look at him I swear he is grinning at me after eating another chocolate donut.

Acquired some pieces of my mom’s 35 year old peace lily she received when her mom passed. Pulled these woody sections in full, right out the pot to free up some much needed room. (Mother plant is potted directly and extremely root bound.) Question: now what? Not sure what to do with the woody bits. Prune them off until I get to green? Leave them be and just repot? Currently hanging out in water until I get some advice 🙏 TIA!

I got this plant from Home Depot a few months ago. It was nice and full, had a couple of pups growing; it was beautiful! Buuuut i killed it somehow in the matter of no time. I salvaged the pups that I could which have done nothing. I finally got some growth and I am loving the new leaf

Is it ok if my Banana leaf is growing in like this? First time plant owner here and I accidentally bought ALL dying plants, i did nurse them all back luckily! But was wondering if it’s ok if it grows in like this? All pictures taken this week to show how it has begun turning so heavily, does it maybe need light from a different direction?

I repotted my umbrella tree since I was changing the soil to a tropical mix. I made a mix of perlite, tropical soil mix and peat moss. The new pot is bigger since I saw in the old pot the roots were climbing the wall. Now I’m noticing the bottom leaves are dying off and I thought that was fine but it’s seems to be a lot of them. As well overall seems droopy? I’m not sure if it’s shock, heat wave, water in the soil or pot too big. All help appreciated ☺️
