Not a fancy alocasia but my Polly is doing so well. Or at least I think so. Eleven leaves out and seven leaves or shoots coming out of the soil. A couple are behind the bigger leaves. Itâs the only one still in soil. I have five in semi hydro.
After an end of summer shedding + spider mite over treatment with neem, we are back to pushing out big variegated leaves.
I got this a few months ago on the anniversary of my mom passing. Her name is Suzi đ. Looks healthy and happy just ZERO growth. Not even trying to put out a new leaf. Am I being impatient? Is pot too big for her? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks! đ

Itâs been a week since repotting my alocasia in the layer method - first leca, then moss, then chunky soil, then moss on top. I was worried with how they would do but they are looking fantastic.

Weâre officially out of dormancy and the new leaf is spectacular!
Did I do something wrong? Lol I know temps and seasons are changing. Iâve had this frydek since May of this year, sheâs been happy healthy and over all just thriving. Not too long ago she had about 6-7 big leafs but then got mites so I cut back all of them except 2 leafs and the babies. After she was healthy again she shot out another new leaf a week ago. However this new leaf came out a lil wonky lol itâs been raining more than usual where I live and my plant is an office plant. Nothing has changed other than itâs been raining off and on for the last 2-3 weeks so it hasnât gotten as much sun as usual. I fertilized her about 2 weeks ago. Iâm not sure if itâs cause of the temp drop and it triggered dormancy mid growth or if itâs just not getting enough sun. I also noticed today that the petiole never fully opened to expose the full stem of the new leaf. Curious if anyone could help me figure this one out! Thank u all so much in advance đ

Bought these lady today. What's wrong with the leaves ? I cleaned them but they still look "dirty"
What is causing my babies to look like this đđ I did use a high calcium/high magnesium fertilizer mix but havent had this issue with my adult plants. Last two pictures are babies that I recently transitioned to Leca and didnât use fertilizer but still seeing a similar thing. These have been in a closed tub to keep humidity high I am nowI am at a loss! Any input appreciated!
