Bought these lady today. What's wrong with the leaves ? I cleaned them but they still look "dirty"

    Powdery mildew would wipe off and release spores in the air. It looks like it might be some residue leftover from it getting treated for pest or bacterial prevention. Sulfur, especially will stain your leaves.

    It reminds me of the hard water buildup on my fish tank; I agree that it seems more like a residue than a mildew

    Somewhere I read that it could be from over fertilizing. Do you fertilize it regularly? Minerals could be trying to get out through the leaves.

      Haven't fertilized yet, bought it recently. I'm cleaning the leaves with dish soap dissolved in water and seems to be working.
