Hey yall. Can someone tell me whatā€™s going on with my alocasia? Iā€™ve been doing well with all my plants for a while. This one is throwing me off lol also, the new leaf that opened looks so awesome!

    Sometimes itā€™s age and sometimes itā€™s not enough nutrients. During the growing season Alocasias need fed weekly with a 10-10-10 then switch to monthly of the winter. Even then some breeds will drop their oldest leaf when they have a new one based on how old the plant is. If young it will cannibalize the old leaf to feed the new leafs growth.

      Yes this plant is young. Got it a few weeks ago.

      Are you feeding it? If yes then itā€™s probably just an age thing

    Are you talking about the drooping leaf? If the stem feels fine and you know itā€™s not needing water, itā€™s caused by too much light.
