All of my alocasias are starting to flower at the same time š³ what are the odds?!

Does anyone have a tried-and-true soil recipe for alocasias? So far Iāve used a potting soil with extra perlite added but Iām considering trying something new, maybe with orchid bark (?). Thanks in advance!

Follow up: I ended up cutting off the sickly leaf and now I have one DRY brown green leaf left. Howeverā¦in one of the shafts, there looks to be a THIN stingy material. Does this look like a potential growth for a new leaf? I really hope so cuz I bought another green scale alocasia, so I can have it to help cope while this one diesš„ŗš„ŗš (it can be hard to see so thatās why I circled) Iām unfamiliar to process of how a new alocasia grows since it has thicker leaves.

I have a juvenile colcasia mojito, and need enlightenment please.. I have read that it is normal for colcasias and alocasias to drop a leaf when they put out a new one, at what point does that stop or at least slow down..

Hey everyone! I have two black velvet corms sat in perlite. I was wondering does adding cutting of pothos help corms grow like it can with cuttings or does it not work in the same way? Thank you

I bought this Polly 2 weeks ago and have only watered it once. I let it drain for about 45 mins, and is in a well lit area. The substrate feels mostly like coco coir and it is still wet even though itās been 9 days since watering. Can someone tell me whatās wrong with my plant baby?

I was wondering will this Dragon Scale survive? This my first time caring for an Alocasia and I accidentally watered it too much and then as I misted it both of the two leaves turned light green because it held the water in. Then the big one as shown here developed those small bumps. Then I thought hey maybe the Neem oil would help it, but unfortunately I STILL didnāt learn that the leaf (eves) could hold liquid and then they both got worse! Iāve already lost two leaves and while it got a ānew budā that one turned yellow and seemed to stop growing! Should I just give up on the plant or should I continue holding on to it seems to still be hang in there?

Torn between a win and if I should be worried. My black velvet alocasia has produced a flower as well as having a new leaf coming through. I was taking it as a win until the wonderful world of google said that it can flower when under stress. I know Iāve had it a month or so now. Should I be concerned or am I overthinking it as I know they can be fussy with their environments? Thank you for any advice in advance

Help! My Alocasia melos leaves are rotting. The leaf will turn yellow or dark green then slowly rot away. The roots are good. The soil stays slightly moist. Humidity is good..ā¦ so I donāt know
