Basil is basiling ☀️
No blackberries but it’s still pretty. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
I only have 2 peppers 😢. When can I pick them?
Came out pretty good and proud as a first timer beginner gardener and working with what I got. PS: I do need some soil mixture recommendations PLEASE, with quantities and measurements if you know them off the top of your head.
Hey! So I’ve decided I want to begin pot growing tomatos but I wasn’t expecting for so many of the seeds to actually germinate. I’m going to repot some of the seedlings and pluck others out from their roots. How many seedlings should I leave in the pot to grow? It’s an 8” plastic pot with drainage holes if that matters
Took some green/soft cuttings from my big peach tree, mixed citrus soil and perlite, added rooting hormone. First time I do this I’m not even sure if it’ll work out but I hope so! Any tips?
My little herb (& tomato) planter is not doing too good. A few days ago I noticed white mold (?) growing in the dirt. My oregano looks to be killed off and my basil leaves are beginning to wilt too. Any thoughts on what I should do? I did spray some organic cold pressed neem oil on the molded areas yesterday.
Hi there. I’m doing great with tropical plants which is weird because I live in PA now anyway I just can’t seem to keep my few herbs in the kitchen happy. Any tips?
first attempt to grow tomatoes indoors, since i don't have an outdoor space. germinated some seeds from farmer's market cherry tomatoes for a couple days and planted them last night. they're already sprouting up 😳
Does my zucchini look healthy? Any tips on how to keep it good and alive?! I’m not 100% why it looks knocked over , but it’s standing straight up.
How do you harvest basil?
Has anyone been able to grow saffron? I love cooking with saffron and it’s so expensive! It’s a Mediterranean plant. Is it possible to grow some in Florida? (I’m not that good at gardening, fyi)
New to gardening. I have a sweet pepper plant and cucumbers growing. They both are about 5-6 inches and over an inch wide. My question is how do I know when they are ready to picked?
Can someone help me? My cilantro was planted about 2 weeks ago and yet their is still no germination. I water it every time the apps says so and it’s right up near a window. I don’t know what’s wrong. Good News ITS GROWING
Hi guys I’m new to growing and exploring and I wanted to start by taking care and loving 🪴 My job gave me this plant almost a month ago. The first picture is when I first received her and second one is a picture from today. I don’t know nothing about taking care of her and little bugs are growing on her, I tried to remove them but they come back… I don’t take her outside I leave her inside because I don’t want someone to take her or damage her. Any help would be great I’m open to learn 🫡
I found wild leek seeds does anyone know how to grow these or store them so I can plant them?
Hi, I am growing indoor cilantro and I see these prominent yellow spots on the leaves. I started using neem oil about a month back thinking the plant was infected, but I see no improvement. I also recently noticed a web that runs between some leaves. Any help here is highly appreciated. Thank you!
Howdy, There is an abundance of wild blackberry bushes in our neighbourhood and we have a rooftop planter that is just waiting for something to be planted. Anyone have experience or tips on how I can propagate blackberries from the neighbourhood to my roof? Thanks!
hey y’all! just wanting some advice on my basil. I’ve had a plant before and it thrived but this one is not looking too hot. Some leaves are getting wilty on the edges and some just don’t come out or they just die immediately. any ideas what’s happening? it’s in a south facing window sill and I water every other day. (just to keep the soil moist) TIA!
My jalapeño plant (Joe) was struggling with a severe aphid infestation. I got him from Lowe’s and he was already covered with maturing peppers. Once I identified the aphids, I was spraying him with water every day. The aphids did not go away. Next I tried dish soap and water. They did not go away! Then, I tried water and vinegar, stunted the growth of the pepper, and ultimately killed poor Joe! He STILL had some aphids that hatched after the vinegar so I just was so annoyed I squished them with my fingers. Next thing I knew, he was a twig in the shape of a Y. I kept watering him for I was very hopeful to someday use fresh jalapeños in my cooking. About a month and a half later, he made minuscule leaves! Now, he is full grown again and has a pepper! The picture below is it today. He is now only dealing with minor dehydration, which is easy to fix. (In the pic you can see my favorite plant: a kalanchoe named Spike and my hydroponic mint sprout named Jolene).
