Best sun/soil combo to transplant my beautiful lemongrass. Zone 8b, Augusta GA. 3 Shade/partial/full Sun options of fixed topsoil to 4-6” but ya know.. then sand straight to clay bc … GA. 🥹 I’m skeert to put her I the ground bc she’s done so well in the pot. Just outgrowing it.

My very first harvest of strawberries!!!! 🥳🍓🥳🍓🥳🍓🥳🍓 I grew them from seed and since it was late in the season when I started them it was suggested to pick off all the flowers to improve the size of the plants/harvest for next year. Looks like I forgot 2 tho!!! 😍😍😍😍 can’t wait to try them!

Update to my last post: I have seedlings! I still think it is too hot for them to go outside (Central Florida zone 10a), so they will stay inside until they are ready to go out. I am excited to start my fall planting! I planted some beans today.
Literally have to chop this 2 foot tall beauty in half today to make pesto because she is outgrowing the light and I am very sad about it because she’s flowering and I am just a girl LMAO

Look, I never intended to grow watermelons. They just appeared, literally! I’ve now got 6 growing in this pot and 4 in another. Apparently this is not ideal. My question is should I size down and is it too late? It’s unfortunate that I’ve grown attached, but I want the best for my watermelons. Anything helps, thank you!

Has anyone tried growing Peltaria alliacea ("garlic cress")? It should be a hardy perennial, but the foliage on mine has solidly died back since flowering and I'm not sure if I should be concerned. It could just be what this plant sometimes does (new to my collection since last year), or it could be due to the drought we've been having here. Wondering if I should be attempting to rescue any still living material, or collect seeds etc. before it's too late.
I think I’ve accidentally grown watermelon seedlings. These look similar to what I’ve searched up about watermelon seedlings, but I’ll be waiting to see them develops more. However, that’s not my question. I don’t have the large amount of space that I typically see watermelons growing on, so I was wondering if it would be possible for me to plant the main seedling(s) in a basic pot and just let the vines hang out on my concrete. Anything helps :D Thank you Also, please feel free admire my tomato plant below :)) it’s a cutting from a larger plant that I thought had failed. I’m very happy about my one tiny tomato
