Newbie here in zone 8! I planted potatoes about 3 weeks ago, and still have no green tops. I only topped with soil enough to cover the seed potatoes with plans to hill up as the tops sprout. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Anything I could have done wrong?

We planted new strawberry plants two weeks ago and after one week the already developed berries had turned red and looked ripe. Then after the next week we noticed the outside of the leaves were browning and the strawberry buds were turning black. Now we have two that have just completely turned brown (stem and all)! It’s really watery in the photo, but it’s not usually like this, it’s raining today so that’s why it’s so wet. Any help is appreciated, I’m really looking forward to some hopefully strawberries this spring!

Had some pretty heavy rain last night my tomato plant does not have good drainage I poured out what water I could though I’m just noticing the leaves aren’t wilted but the stem and leaves are drooping downwards what can I do to help?

Hi everyone, Does anyone know what type of pepper plant this is? I was gifted this beautiful plant and I was told is a very hot pepper but I’ve never seen one. I used the planta app to identify it and it says it’s a sweet pepper plant & I don’t think this is correct. Thank you & happy gardening!

So I just got a heavy thunder storm that lasted about 4h and only 4 of my plants pots were flooded which I tried my best to drain what else should I do to avoid health issues with my plants🌱

So I keep finding little holes in my plants or on the edges of my tomato plants being eaten so I tried basil, but the basil is being eaten too. Yet I don’t see any bugs. Any ideas on what this could be?

Banana Peppers are doing the best! Are they just easy to grow, I’ve had the most success with them out of everything I’ve grown!

So these are my 2 month old tomato plants but they keep getting eaten by bugs, how can I prevent this? Also while I’m here how do I stop my plants from going in to shock and dying the moment in repot them if try to move them to a brighter spot?
