What is up with my brandywine seedlings? I’ve grown my tomatoes from seed for years, and I’ve never had this curling issue. Lower branches have fallen off. Some of my other brandy wines are doing this to a less drastic degree. Any idea what is causing it and what to do about it? I’ve used the same starter soil for all my seedlings and everything else looks healthy. Actually I had a bumblebee cherry tomato that dropped a couple lower branches a couple weeks ago, but didn’t do the curling, at least not that I recall.

Any tips to keep the birds and bunnies away from my fruits?! I’ve had blackberries and blueberries planted out here yearly for the like 5ish (?) years, but the birds and bunnies have a freaking FIELD DAY! Any tips to keep them away that don’t produce any plastic waste 😅 I really don’t want to have to resort to bird net.

Just was wondering, has anyone here successfully had a fruit tree in a pot? I’ve heard of it being done, but how does one actually do it? I’d love to have fruit trees but I’m confined to an apartment at the moment with a small porch.

I’m SO excited!!! There’s something so magical another seeing a seed pop thru the soil as a baby sprout 🥹😍 I attempted to grow peppers late in the season last year and failed. This is my first time giving a valiant effort and I’m pumped!!

I have some basil that I started from seed this January. I discovered spider mites a few weeks ago and I haven’t been quite sure what to do. There were so many that this weekend I went through and manually removed as much as I could. I’ve seen stuff online about spraying plants with heavily diluted dish soap, but I’m unsure about that on a) a plant that’s already sick and b) a plant that I plan on (eventually) eating.
Is there anything else I can do other than remove them manually?

Roma tomato: lots of rain happened recently. Hasn’t grown much in the last 2 weeks. Should I consider it done? Leaves are very dry but stem of plant is moist.

Hello everyone,
I’m pretty new to gardening and I had a bug that took out my potatos. Long story… but now they are on my soil in my sunflower pot.
They are small black flying insects and they hop more then fly. I tried to get a close up picture but couldn’t get a good one.
Anyone have any idea what it is and how to treat it??

I’ve been trying to grow red and yellow strawberries, I started the seeds in an egg carton and they haven’t grown yet? I plan to have them in my raised bed. I haven’t had trouble growing strawberries like this before, so can someone tell me if I’m doing something wrong?

hi everyone! so i’m a bit confused on planting fruiting plants in pots. when i first bought my habanero pepper plant, the info on it said to plant the pepper in a deep container but now i’m worried the pot is too big for it, im struggling with another plant dying to this reason and don’t want my pepper plant to start suffering. it hasn’t shown any sign of distress, seems fairly happy despite not getting much sunlight due to the storms in my area…

I’m a first time strawberry plant owner. Had this one about a month and it has given us 4 perfectly healthy strawberries but now they are forming weird. Is this normal? Has anyone seen this before? The new berries forming look so concerning 😅
