I’m new to succulents and am wondering if this is normal for Echeveria? I am used to the flat hen and chicks (Sempervivum) in colder climates but these seem to be growing taller. One is starting to push a flower so I am assuming it is getting the sun it needs (outside on eastern facing front porch without roof) but wasn’t sure if it is searching for something and that is why they seem to be stretching out.

Hey guys, does anyone have any advice on when I should water my jelly bean plant? I just took some cuttings and transferred them to a new pot. Many of the stems already had roots growing on them so I stuck them right into the soil. But I’m not sure on how long I should wait.

Can anyone tell me if these long tendrils that have appeared on my Beavertail and Fishbone epiphyllum cacti are normal or a symptom of something?

It has been 2 years since I propagated this beautiful Haworthia using the leaf method. It started as just a single leaf, and now it is still growing.
After watering the plant, I turn it 45° to promote even growth.
This is a very good indoor succulent.

Total impulse buy at Food Basics this morning. Couldn’t resist - such a unique look to it! Top portion of the plant needs a little love and a lot of sun.

Do you know any grow lights that meet the requirements to bring out bright colour in succulents? 6500 kelvins, 2000 lumens+, energy efficiency C or above are the priority

Just woke up to something green and small poking out of my snake plant pot🙃
It’s a little late in the year to repot but should I begin to consider it?

This is a friendly reminder that it's okay to make mistakes; things take time, and time can heal everything.

I thought my Portulacaria were thriving, but they have suddenly started losing leaves. I'll put all my efforts into making her look beautiful again.

Can someone confirm if I am overwatering this plant please. I water on schedule. Maybe I don’t have it in a sunny enough spot? I’m new at succulents and not having much luck with them. Thanks for the advice!

Please help a girl out🫣 all my other succulents are doing fine but my Gollum is looking all shrivelled up and brown on the tips?
It is placed on a south facing windowsill which has a decent amount of direct sunlight (it has been really warm here over the last week or two) so I’m thinking it’s too much sunlight? But I read that they are full sun plants so I’m not sure? All my other succulents are thriving in that window?

Hey plant friends! I watered my jade plant and the water immediately drained through, so I believe my soil and pot are appropriate and well-draining (used Miracle Gro Succulent and Cactus Potting Mix). My question is I went to feel the soil after watering and upon digging around in the soil I found some of it to be dry. Which I thought was surprising because I watered it completely (like flooded by accident) and it all drained out. So I thought the soil would’ve been soaked.
Is this normal for soil to be a little dry after watering?
I had a friend look at it a while ago and tell me it looked like it needed to be watered but I know jade plants don’t like to be overwatered so I let it dry out and follow Planta’s schedule.

Help!!! My Haworthia and Crasula Ovata are slowly getting too big for their lovely south facing window sill and the only place I can move them to is a west facing window (UK)… will they be ok? Been in their current spot for 2 years now so reluctant to move them but they catch on the blind and curtains and I’m worried they’re gonna get damaged, or worse fall.
